I also grew up with dogs, ive had a grump that nipped and i learned with older dogs you need to respect boundaries even more with them. Young hyper dogs are perfect. so much energy but nothing to do with it. I have been around all types of dogs and the most key thing is learning that dogs base needs.

Payton was great with our cats!
Elliot communicated well and sent us periodic updates about our pet so we didn't have to worry. Elliot was also comfortable and flexible giving our cat a daily oral medication.
