I work Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM, but I’m flexible and available for afternoon, evening, overnight and weekend visits. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine as much as possible and will always do my best to work with your scheduling needs!

I love being outside & going on hikes or walks especially with a companion, meaning I would be more than willing to walk with them! Or if that’s not your pets thing, I’m definitely not opposed to staying home keeping them company & giving lots of pets!

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience caring for animals in a variety of professional settings. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant, a professional pet sitter through a local boarding facility, and at the Capital Humane Society. Most recently, I moved back to Nebraska after managing the foster program at the largest animal shelter in Southern and Western Colorado the passed three years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I’m truly passionate about. Now that i’m no longer working in an animal-focused career, I miss spending my days with pets and would love the opportunity to care for yours! I have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I understand how important it is to maintain a normal routine. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, enrichment, or simply providing companionship, I’m happy to care for your pet just as you would so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and becoming their new bff!

Payton took great care of our senior dog and our home while we were away! She is a great communicator, took Bailey for walks, spent lots of time hanging out with him and checked in with photos. Our house was spotless when we returned! We will definitely book Payton again.
I was Payton’s supervisor at her previous position as a veterinary assistant at our clinic. Payton is definitely an animal lover. She cares deeply for all animals and would be an ideal pet sitter especially with her animal handling knowledge and vet assistant training. While in her care, you would not have to worry about anything at all. She always puts the animals health and safety first as well as making sure they get enough love and pets! Payton will give you more than your money's worth while pet sitting your pet. She is respectful, honest and hard working. She is overall just a great human being that was probably a dog in her prior life! lol : )
Payton was a dream! She flew in while we were on vacation to watch our two boys, took them on long walks, hikes, and made sure they were loved and cared for. She send us regular photos because we missed them so much and was an excellent communicator! Once we got back, the boys were excited to see us but they definitely moped around waiting for Payton to come back :) Thank you for taking such great care of our boys! Definitely recommend!
After having Payton watch my two dogs for the first time, I have never used anyone else as she has done such an amazing job. She always goes above and beyond every time she stays with them/watches them by walking them more than enough, sending text/picture updates and truly just caring for their overall well-being. She always develops a strong, trustworthy and loving bond with any animal she cares for, and is very knowledgeable when it comes to animal care in general. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to watch after my animals as perfectly as she does!
