Let me know if your dog has any particular needs or temperaments that I need to account for. Details about any medications and at-home preferences would help me make your pup feel most comfortable while you're away! In terms of temperament, I've worked with dogs with aggressive tendencies around other dogs and other people, and I have a skillset to meet that need. But, I need to know ahead of time so I can prepare for and mitigate situations in which that knowledge would be necessary. I just want to keep your pup safe and well, and any information that you feel is important to those things is also important to me. Thank you!
A typical day
As a person who grew up with a border collie mix, I am very familiar with the activity needs of a high-energy pup. Playing is so important in keeping our dogs engaged and happy, and I genuinely get joy out of it too! I also love going for walks and letting pups get their energy out in a way that's exciting for them. I am also familiar with more low-energy dogs, and am very experienced in getting them engaged and having fun, even if they're hesitant at first. I look forward to getting to know your pup!

Pet care experience
I believe that like people, meeting dogs where they're at and fulfilling their individual needs is so important! I have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of temperaments, from high energy buddies to low energy love-bugs and everything in between. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, shy, avoidant dogs, and dogs with aggressive behavioural tendencies. Every dog deserves love, affection, and care, and I can't wait to meet yours!

Payton was great. We booked her for the first time after our normal Rover sitter moved away. She was very responsive in communication in both setting up a meet & greet and during the visit. I probably would have had her to the house so she would be more comfortable with everything (where the food is located and where to find things) but I think it worked out fine. I try to make things easy for the sitter with a cheer sheet because we have three big dogs all with personality and slightly different needs. She seemed great with all of it. Our trip was cut short by a day and she seemed fine with the change of plans. We appreciate someone who is a bit flexible bc of our family. We would certainly use her again.
Payton walks my two dogs. They are a handful but she she handles them well. She is on time, enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend her as a reliable walker for your pups.
Payton is a dog whisperer. She connects easily with dogs, is a loving companion, and also knows how to keep them on track with their trained skills. Payton also has a knack for engaging dogs in play that will surely delight any canine friend. She's taken care of our pup on numerous occasions and I've learned a lot, watching how Payton interacts with our dog. As a person, Payton is a thoughtful, reliable, and conscientious communicator and a delight to be around. She is good-natured, friendly, and kind. I highly recommend Payton for all your pet-sitting and pet care needs! She will love your pet as her own and will take really good care of them!
