Love, care, safety and trust
I have cared for dogs of every size for as long as I can remember, including the timid ones and some reactive ones too. My beloved boy Malcolm passed suddenly last year and joining Rover is a way of healing for me combined with being able to help others find a caring setting for their pet while they are otherwise occupied, providing assurance that their pet is safe and loved. I work from home and my job is flexible enough to allow me to care for your pet's needs without particularly rigid working hours. I live in Kirkliston, a quiet village outside of Edinburgh, with plenty of walking paths for your dog to explore and enjoy. Over the past 3 years I have also regularly cat sat for friends, who have 2 beautiful boys with very different personalities. While cats and dogs have very different caring needs, they both bring a lot of love and joy and while I am currently unable to adopt myself, I want to enjoy their company and help others by providing my services.

Paulina was excellent and provided us with a great deal of reassurance as this was our first time using Rover.com. Tilly had a lovely time and was very well looked after. Paulina provided daily updates including photos and videos. We are so glad to find Paulina and will definitely book her again for next time!
Our dog had a ball with Paulina and settled great. He stayed for a weekend and we got lots of updates, photo's and videos. He's planning on staying with her again next month and I know he will be looking forward to it 😊
Once again amazing service from Paulina! Lots of updates and pictures and she even went over and above and dropped Joni home on their evening walk to help us out!
Paulina did a great job looking after my dog Milo, lots of walks and lots of cuddles and I was able to enjoy my time anyway knowing he was in good hands.
Paulina is absolutely amazing! Our reactive dog can be challenging sometimes and she took it in stride. He had a great stay and I know he was in great hands.
Paulina and Chris were AMAZING!!!. Luna was so happy in their company and was very well looked after.

Schedule
I am a full time employee, working from my home, with flexible hours schedule. I am able to fit in multiple walks, play time, feeding and other necessary breaks to ensure your pet is cared for. I love having animals around, they make a house turn into home for me and I always make sure their physiological and mental needs are catered to, so that the time spent together is beneficial to us both.

Safety, trust & environment
At my home, there are no other pets, so all my attention will be focused on yours. Before you book me, I would like to chat to you and confirm in writing their routine, feeding schedule and any details you'd need me to know to ensure they are cared for properly. There are no bad pets, just carers who are missing vital information on how to ensure the pet trusts them and I am on a mission to build that trust with your pet.
A typical day
I normally get them out 4 times a day, unless otherwise specified. We do at least 1 long walk, 1-1.5h depending on your dog. We play ball, tug of war and scent games with treat rewards. And finally, there is always some down time with snuggles and rest.
