I give my own dogs daily walks, socialization, & at least 3 beach or park trips each week.

I don’t have any breed preferences. If we don’t do a meet & greet, I appreciate your very specific instructions! I’d like to know how you share your life with your dog. Does your dog have any anxiety, reactive, and/or protection habits? I welcome your instructions: sit to put on leash in a particular spot? walk left side or right side? Sweater on or off? Specific route?
A typical day
We'll walk through your neighborhood & explore the smells; meanwhile, practicing good behavior, practicing no pulling, & stops at the end of sidewalks & before streets. If you prefer I exercise your dog on your property or in your yard; I will play the games & fetch you designate.

Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla 👋 Thank you for considering me! 🔹 Personal & client dog experience: separation anxiety, fear, reactivity, overstimulation, leash pulling, allergies, special diets, medication 🔹 I naturally practice calm, positive reinforcement & mutual understanding. 🔹 I’ve learned a lot of behavioral techniques from trainers online & I’m currently pursuing dog massage certification. I plan on furthering my dog behavioral certification, health education, CPR & more. 🔹 I’ve had my sweet dog, Sandy, for 10 years now & I can’t imagine a day without her! Her pup companion, Boogie, joined us 3 years ago & life is so good! 🔹 I’m very patient & I have so much fun with dogs! I understand the struggle of working long hours & making sure your best friend is cared for. 🚶♀️My service radius is within 2 miles of Pacific Beach Drive & Mission Blvd 🚶♀️I will consider bookings outside my service radius for an additional cost. I will consider reducing rates if you’re super close or have a parking spot. ⚠️ Important dog walking note for multiple-dog households ⚠️ I walk these cases 1-on-1 so please schedule enough time for each dog: * aggressive dogs * fearful dogs * puppies About me as a kid/teen: I grew up with 14 dogs & many other animals on my childhood property. We often pack-walked the acreage beside my home (dogs & cats together & sometimes the geese would come!). And, often, they would follow me down to the adjacent playground basketball courts & watch me shoot hoops. It was so awesome!

I couldn’t recommend Paulette enough! She is so kind, responsive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My cats adore her and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they are in such good hands. Every time I come home they are happy, relaxed, and well cared for. She also sends the best photos and videos while I’m away which I always look forward to. My house is always cleaner than when I left it when I return. Paulette is truly wonderful, I am so happy I found her.
