I have been involved with animals my whole life, from my childhood on a farm to becoming the owner of my own pet business. The September 11, 2001 events had a deep and lasting impact on my life, leading me from a fast-paced corporate career to a richer life as the owner of my own dog-walking business for 11 years. Years ago, I went to Cambodia to adopt a little Cambodian boy. There I met the farmers. Having grown up on a poor farm myself, I understood their struggle. So when I returned home, I vowed to help them and began a search for engineers to develop ways to make their lives easier. I have run the Non-Profit from my home for the last 15 years. This lifestyle allowed me to continue to board pets in my home. I am attuned to the physical and emotional needs of a pet. I particularly like working with senior pets. I admire their nobility. I work part-time from my home in Brooklyn Heights, allowing much of the day to enjoy your pet. We can explore Brooklyn Bridge Park or quiet residential streets. Whatever your pet prefers. If it is a senior dog, perhaps we'll sit on a stoop and watch the activity in the neighborhood. Your pet is a part of the family. It is allowed on furniture and the bed. Although, there will be some constraints. I must be respectful of my neighbors.

Paula is a fantastic communicator and very clearly cares for the animals in her care. I love that she asked me a ton of questions because she wanted to make sure she took care of my dog the same way I would. She was very thoughtful, communicative and kind, and also patient with my pup. Paula also followed up after I picked my dog up, wanting to make sure she was ok after their weekend together.
Paula always takes great care of my sensitive and cautious dog, Alma. She is so patient and thoughtful. I fully recommend her for dog sitting and walking!

Paula is an excellent dog walker - punctual, attentive, and genuinely caring. She consistently arrives on time and focuses closely on my dog’s needs. My dog clearly loves her and feels completely comfortable in her care. We feel so lucky to have found a reliable and safe carer!
