Pet care experience

Experienced in attentive care

I’m currently a student at the USC Annenberg School. I like to pop in on Rover a few times per year to help other pet owners out. I’m a compassionate and intuitive pet sitter with hands-on experience caring for multi-pet households, including cats, senior dogs, and puppies. My services include administering medications, accommodating dietary restrictions, and arranging my schedule to fit yours so that your pet is safe and up to their routine. I also offer my space to accommodate cats and dogs who are interested in being with other cats and a small dog. I have lived experience in pet first aid and pet medication. I can trim nails and groom them thoroughly as well. I prioritize creating a calm, stress-free environment and pay close attention to subtle behavioral cues. I’m trustworthy, attentive, and proactive when needed, while always handling both pets and homes with care and respect. I like to leave your space clean and well-maintained—often better than I found it. I dedicate significant time to respecting your home, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring your pet stays safe, happy, and consistent with their routine.

House Sitting • Jun 23, 2026

Paula did a wonderful job taking care of our dog and cat. She followed our very detailed instructions, especially for caring for our cat with health problems and who has a habit of ingesting foreign objects. She sent tons of photos and responded promptly to our messages. When we came back, the house was clean and the pets were happy. We’d definitely hire her again!

House Sitting • Apr 07, 2026

Paula was sweet, considerate and responsible. She was responsive and competent. I felt Maxi was in good hands with her. She even did additional tasks like cutting his nails and vacuuming the pellet dust from the litter box. Most importantly, I could feel that she truly loves animals and treats them respectfully. It was easy to communicate with her and I would definitely recommend her to anyone with a cat. She sent me almost 100 (!) photos of Maxi :D and kept me in a constant loop about what's going on and if Maxi is eating and how he is behaving. It made me feel safe and I would book her again! Thank you, Paula!

House Sitting • Jan 01, 2026

This was our first time using Rover for pet sitting services and we were very pleased. Paula had relevant experience for one of our cats who needs medication, which was key in our selection of her as a sitter (FIP diagnosis and treatment). She organized her schedule to meet with us via video ahead of time, which we always appreciate, and she also came to our home for an in person walk-through of the house and security system. At the beginning of the sit, our cat who needed medication proved to be quite the little Houdini as far as hiding and avoiding her dose. Paula made us aware of the situation and between us, a helping hand from a friend, and a few FaceTime conversations (on Christmas Eve no less!), we were able to locate and medicate the little devil. We then came up with a new plan to avoid issues, but I really applaud Paula’s cool head and flexibility as it was definitely a challenge. Paula also communicated every day, and included pictures and videos of the kitty kids so I knew they were happy and well-fed. Our little trouble maker kitten also managed to cut her foot which Paula spotted and treated immediately. Paula was very reliable during the sit, including staying a bit later when our flight time changed, and when we arrived, everything was tidy and the other cats were clearly relaxed and happy. If I need a drop-in sitter again, I will definitely rebook her.

Paula took great care of our dog, Jun-Max, during a recent two-week vacation. Jun-Max became attached to Paula and did not want to come home

Paula is amazing . She hosted our 12 year old Maltese poodle, for 10 days . Our dog is usually stressed out after a stay at typical pet care places . With Paula , he has been very calm and NONE of the post-stay trauma with him . Paula sent regular pictures and updates . Brides being an amazing pet lover, Paula was so nice and flexible as our flights got cancelled and delayed , this pushed our entire plans . Paula was kind enough to adjust the hosting days.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding routine, medications, behavior around other animals, and any triggers or fears they may have. I also appreciate knowing their favorite toys, comfort items, and what helps them feel safe—this helps me provide the best care possible. For house sitting: please provide detailed care instructions so that I can plan around your pet’s routine. We can avoid last minute troubles if we plan ahead of time.
