Hi! I’m one of those people who can’t walk past a dog without saying hi. If I see a dog while I’m out, I’m probably the person asking, “Can I pet your dog?” My child is exactly the same way! We’re both naturally drawn to dogs and genuinely enjoy having them around. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Three of my own dogs were with me for 16, 16, and 18 years, and they truly became members of the family. I understand how much our dogs mean to us and how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for them when we can’t be there. Our current dog, Pancake, is a rescue and a small, friendly girl who enjoys having company. She’s an important part of our family and will be your pup’s little host during their stay! I also volunteered at two animal shelters, where I spent time caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I am patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s individual temperament. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. My home is a good fit for dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. Because I have a child at home 50% of the time, your dog must be comfortable and safe around children. I also want every dog who stays here to feel comfortable with Pancake, so I take introductions and meet-and-greets seriously. ❤️ What I Want for Your Dog I want your dog to feel like they are staying in a home where they are genuinely cared for, not simply being dropped off somewhere for the night. I’ll take the time to learn your dog’s routine, personality, favorite things, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Whether your pup wants to run around the yard, play with Pancake, follow us around the house, or curl up somewhere cozy, I’ll respect their individual personality. While I’m new to Rover, caring for dogs is something I’ve been doing throughout my life.
