Grew Up with Dogs, Happy to Care for Yours

I’m 24 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. We’d love to spend time with your dog, spoil them a little, and make them feel at home while you’re away.

I brought our 4 month year old puppy to Paula. It was the first time for Winnie and Paula made her feel at home and I picked up a happy pup.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Boki seemed very happy and well cared for. The flexibility with timing was also much appreciated. Highly recommended!

I couldn't be happier with Paula's dog walking services! From the very first meeting, she showed a genuine love and understanding for dogs, immediately putting my mind at ease. My dog, Max, can be quite shy around new people, but he warmed up to Paula instantly, which was a testament to her calming presence and gentle approach. Paula is incredibly reliable and professional. She always arrives on time, rain or shine, and keeps me updated with photos and notes about their adventures together. It's clear she knows how to handle dogs of all temperaments and sizes, ensuring each walk is both fun and safe. What sets Paula apart is her attention to detail and personalized care. She takes the time to learn about Max’s preferences, energy levels, and any special needs. I can tell Max looks forward to his walks with her, as he’s always excited to see her and comes home happy and well-exercised. I highly recommend Paula to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. She truly goes above and beyond, making sure Max is not only well-exercised but also loved and cared for during their time together. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Paula is a caring and principled person, having a dog of her own for years that is one of the happiest dogs I have met. She takes great responsibility and has a natural affinity towards animals as they always seem to approach her with affection.

Schedule

Having a pet around fits naturally into my routine. I work hybrid, so on the days I’m home, there’s plenty of time for walks, play, and company. Even when I go into the office, I make sure the day is structured with care in mind. It feels less like a responsibility and more like sharing the day with a friend.

Safety, trust & environment

I make sure pets feel safe and relaxed in my space. I keep things calm, stick to their routine as much as possible, and give them plenty of attention. Whether it’s walks, food, playtime, or just quiet company, I adjust to what each dog needs. I’m also big on keeping things cozy, so they feel right at home.

A typical day

I love going on long walks, exploring parks, or just playing together at home if they’re more of a chill type. If they like games, we’ll play fetch or tug. If they’re more into cuddles, I’m all for that too. I try to match their energy and keep things fun, relaxed, and full of attention.

I always like to know a bit about your dog before we spend time together. Their age, habits, energy level, and any special needs or quirks help me make sure they feel safe and comfortable. The more I know, the better I can care for them like you would. I’d also love to meet your dog before the actual stay. It helps us get to know each other and makes the whole experience more comfortable for them. A quick intro walk or visit is always a good idea.
