I grew up surrounded by dogs and farm animals, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. As an adult, I’ve continued sharing my life with both dogs and cats, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I’m a biologist, and I’ve even had the chance to help with rabies vaccination campaigns in Africa alongside specialized veterinarians for several years. Friends and family often trust me to take care of their pets when they need a hand. I love going for walks, playing, and just hanging out with animals, it never feels like work to me!

I prefer to care for pets at the clients home; I live in a house that already have 3 dogs and bringing a extra pet will not be suitable. I will follow all the instructions from the client conscientiously on how the pet needs to be cared. Each pet have their own ways and it is very important to embrace their needs and personalities.

Paula has looked after my dog, Cookie, on many occasions and there will be many more to come. She is absolutely fantastic with Cookie and has a natural way with dogs. Cookie adores her, and I always have complete peace of mind, knowing he is in her care. One thing I particularly like and appreciate is that Paula keeps in regular contact while I am away, sending daily updates and photos of Cookie. It is so reassuring to know, how he is getting on and to see how happy and settled he is in her care. I highly recommend Paula for care of pets role. She has done an excellent job training my large, energetic two-year old dog, who is now calm and well behaved. She also helped un introduce a new puppy into our house, supporting both dogs to settle in and socialise sucessfully. Paula is reliable, skilled and clearly great with animals.

Schedule
I am currently learning academic english in UCC and I am able to work after classes. I am available from 2pm onwards on Mondays and Tuesdays and the whole day on Fridays and weekends. I am free to overnight if needed. I am very flexible.
