Pet care is already a built‑in part of my everyday life. With two American Bullies and a cat at home, my routine naturally revolves around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure everyone gets the attention they need. I’m used to managing different personalities and schedules, so adding another pet into my routine feels seamless. Throughout the week, I make time for morning and evening walks, enrichment, cleaning litter boxes, and keeping up with any medications or special instructions. Because caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, it never feels like an extra task—it’s just part of how my days flow. Whether it’s daily check‑ins or longer stays, I’m already in the rhythm of providing consistent, loving care.

When pets stay in my home, they’re welcomed into a calm, safe, and pet‑friendly environment. I have two American Bullies and a cat, so I’m already used to managing different personalities and making sure everyone feels comfortable. I keep routines consistent with what each pet is used to—regular feeding times, walks, play sessions, enrichment, and plenty of affection. My home is in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from Medal of Honor Park, which makes daily walks and outdoor time easy and enjoyable. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel secure while their family is away. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding and litter care to walks, medication, and any special needs. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and comfort level, whether that means slow introductions, extra playtime, or simply offering calm companionship. In both settings, my goal is the same: to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for, just like I do with my own animals

Information Paula D. would like to know about your pet
Daily routine — feeding schedule, walk times, preferred activities, and any house rules they follow. Personality & behavior — whether they’re shy, energetic, cuddly, anxious, or have any quirks I should be aware of. Medical needs — medications, allergies, past injuries, or anything I should monitor. Comforts & triggers — favorite toys, calming habits, and anything that might scare or stress them. Social preferences — how they do with other dogs, cats, or new people. Training cues — commands they know, how they communicate, and what works best for them. Emergency contacts — your vet information and how you’d like me to handle unexpected situations.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and mentally stimulated, so I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean walks around my safe neighborhood, exploring Medal of Honor Park, playing fetch, tug‑of‑war, or enjoying some enrichment toys to keep their minds busy. If they’re social and it’s appropriate, we can even take a fun trip to Hophounds for some playtime and fresh air. For pets who prefer a calmer pace, I’m just as happy to spend time giving belly rubs, practicing basic commands, or relaxing together with gentle affection and companionship. Cats get their own kind of fun too—interactive toys, feather wands, laser play, cozy window watching, or simply quiet bonding time depending on what they enjoy. My goal is always the same: to make sure every pet has a great time, feels loved, and gets the perfect mix of activity and comfort

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Paula! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m a complete softie for pets, and I do everything in my power to make sure every dog or cat in my care feels safe, loved, and genuinely happy. At home, my family includes two American Bullies and one cat, so I’m very comfortable with multi‑pet households and all the energy, personality, and joy that comes with them. I have a special love for bully breeds, but I truly enjoy working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Because my own pets have needed medication in the past, I’m experienced with administering medicine and keeping pets calm and comfortable during the process. Whether it’s daily routines, special instructions, or extra cuddles, I’m attentive and committed to giving each pet the best experience possible. My home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from Medal of Honor Park—perfect for walks, sniff breaks, and outdoor time. I’m also only about 15 minutes from Hophounds, the dog park/bar, which gives me even more options for fun outings when appropriate. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like family, pays attention to the little things, and genuinely loves what they do, I’d be honored to care for your furry loved ones.

Reviews

Paula was awesome! She asked all the questions to make sure our fur baby was well taken care of. We had a meet and greet before the drop off to make sure all the fur babies would get along, and they did! When we dropped off our baby, she told us she would send so many pictures and videos. She took our baby on adventures to the park and let him have all the fun! Highly recommended 10/10 5 gold stars!
Paula is one of the few people I trust with my fur babies. She cares for them like they were her own. She is trustworthy and exceptional at giving them love and affection. She is an avid volunteer at the local animal shelters if that goes to show her kind spirit. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone who needs a sitter for their fur babies!!
