Availability
I work overnights Sunday through Thursday. I have my own cats and a few fosters, we have a set routine with breakfast and medications when I get home. In the evenings is playtime, social and cuddle time. Then before I go to work at night, they are all tucked in with a special treat before I leave. I like to stick to routine with my cats, it helps them feel safe and makes everything run smoother in a multi pet home. I am available in the evenings to help with your pet(s) Sunday through Thursday and on Fridays and Saturdays I have a very flexible schedule and can work with almost any times of the day/evening/afternoons. I also am available during holidays.

I assure you your pet is safe in my hands. I do alot of work behind the scenes with friends in rescue and have alot of hands on experience with handling and caring for animals safely. My home environment is safe and clean. I am trust-worthy and kind, and I love all living things. I have to pass background checks for the type of work I do, so I have a clean background. I may be able to board cats on occasion under certain circumstances. If it is short term boarding, I have a nice sized bathroom that they could have the freedom of staying in there with me. I have leukemia positive cats in my home so this would keep them safely in their own area without exposure to my cats. They would have their own clean litter box and food bowls and lots of toys/and amenities will staying in the "Paula's luxury bathroom suite"!

I would like to take some time to go over any needs your pet has before booking with me. This will ensure the safety of your pet and allow me to handle and care for your pet properly and meet both your needs as well as your pets needs.
A typical day
Playtime and free time for your pet is important! If you have a playful pup or kitty we can take the time to get some extra playtime in after a walk or during a visit. If sitting for a few minutes for just some cuddles, lap time and relaxation, then that is no problem either!

Pet care experience
I have a wide range of experience with dogs, cats, reptiles and small animals. I have owned cats, dogs, mice, rats, geckos, birds, fish, ferrets and rabbits. I currently have several cats of my own and they are treated like they are my kids. I have alot of experience with feral cats and cats with behavioral issues. I have a cat who is diabetic so I have experience in giving insulin shots. I also have experience with and own both FIV+ and FeLV+ cats. I have experience in medicating cats as well, as I have several on medication in my home.

Paula is a unique caregiver in the essence that she has an exhilarating approach to how she cares for the lives of animals. She always says, “They cannot speak for themselves therefore we must act on their behalf.” Paula has funded many feline rescues without help from outside sources. She has spent countless days and nights in harsh weather conditions to rescue felines off the streets. She has vetted and found good loving homes for all of them. With each rescue she beams with delight. I wholeheartedly trust Paula with my own fur baby when I am away on vacation. We all know how much our fur babies mean to us and Paula is an excellent choice. You will never choose anyone else!
