Pet care experience
I have had pets forever, I grew up with hunting dogs and have had dogs, cats, and other since. I recently lost my own pup and am interested in caring for other peoples animals. I live with my husband and two adult children. We are all included in the photos you may see. The beautiful Golden is our beloved Charlie who we lost in 2020. Most of my shared photos are of him.

Had a family emergency and was in such a frantic state that I forgot to pack the chicken breasts that I use to top Clovers kibble. Paula was kind enough to bake chicken breasts for Clover. Above and beyond! I know Clovr is in wonderful hands with Paula!
Paula did a great job caring for Leo. She gave him lots of attention and exercise in the yard. Great communication with updates throughout. Highly recommend and would send Leo to Paula again.
Just relocated to the Chicago area and am so happy and relieved to have found Paula! She is so easy and lovely to work with, and is fantastic with Clover!
Paula took great care of Felix today. He came home as a happy puppy! She took detailed notes throughout the day and took pictures of Felix. Highly recommend Paula for your special pup!

I have a fenced in yard at my SFH and I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood. My last dog was trained 100% by me and he was very well behaved.

Let me know if there are special needs or any other behaviors I need to be aware of. I generally do not allow my pups on furniture. I have a nice dog bed for their comfort but don’t typically allow them in my bed or room overnight. I would like to know about territorial behavior in the home such as marking. Please supply the toys, leash, food, treats. I do have bowls if needed. I would like to know if there is a special diet or feeding schedule. I would like to know their walking schedule also.
A typical day
I generally took my dog on walks in the subdivision I live in. I would likely do the same. During work hours (roughly 8 to 5) I would let the dog run and do his/her business in my yard. After work we could go for a walk and/or have play time. I may be able to fit in a lunch walk but it is work schedule dependent. I have a dog bed for use but don’t allow them to sleep with me.

Availability
I work a FT job from home on weekdays so I could easily handle a day care scenario or boarding in my home. I can walk the dogs before and after work. Mid-day walks are tentative based on work. However, I can offer plenty of outdoor time in my backyard.
