A typical day depends on the dog. I stick to their routine with meals, potty breaks, walks, and rest so they feel comfortable and secure. Walks aren’t just exercise. I focus on leash manners, engagement, and staying calm. I work in basic obedience and impulse control naturally while we’re out so they stay mentally stimulated. Activities depend on the dog. Some want more movement, some need mental work, some just want to relax. I make sure our time together is fun, engaging, and tailored to them.

Paul isn’t just one of our dog’s favorite people—he’s been incredible in helping us train him. He’s been with us since our puppy was just 14 weeks old, and now that Maslow is almost a year and a half, we still reach out to Paul for guidance all the time. Maslow is now pushing 80 lbs, and Paul has helped us navigate the challenges of a big dog who still thinks he’s a 20 lb puppy—especially when it comes to loving (and jumping on!) everyone he meets. We plan to keep working with Paul not only for continued training, but also as we move toward our goal of having Maslow become a fully trained therapy dog. I highly recommend Paul—he truly helped make the puppy years a lot less chaotic.
I first met Paul over a year ago when he was one of the trainers for my dog. He performed exceptionally well, demonstrating a genuine concern for both my needs and those of my dog. He dedicated ample time, exhibited great patience, and thoroughly addressed all of my inquiries. He treated my dog as if it were his own, and it was evident that he truly enjoyed working with dogs of all breeds. I now consider him a good friend, and he is always readily available to answer any questions I may have regarding my dog.
