Safety, trust & environment
I specialize in walking and drop-in visits, which means I come directly to your dog's safe, familiar environment. Here is how I ensure safety and trust: On Walks: I maintain strict situational awareness. Having raised a highly active breed, I know how to read dog body language to anticipate reactions to other dogs, traffic, or loud noises. I stick to safe routes and always test the pavement heat. In Your Home (Drop-ins): I treat your property with the utmost respect. I strictly follow your rules regarding which rooms the dog is allowed in, ensure all feeding or medication instructions are executed perfectly, and always double-check that all doors and yard gates are locked before I leave.
Information Paul W. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience for your dog, please let me know the following before our first walk or visit: Medical & Dietary: Are there any ongoing health issues, strict dietary restrictions, or daily medications I need to be aware of? Triggers & Fears: Does your dog have any specific anxieties (loud noises, thunderstorms, skateboards, etc.) or reactivity toward other dogs or strangers on walks? Leash Behavior: Do they tend to pull, or do they walk well on a leash? Do they have a preferred harness or collar? Routines: Any specific training commands you use, or off-limit areas in your home during drop-in visits?
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally! Whether it’s an active jog, a high-flying game of frisbee, or classic ball throwing, I will match my energy to your dog’s specific needs. After years of keeping a highly active breed exercised and happy, I know exactly how to turn a standard visit into a fun, tiring adventure that leaves your dog perfectly ready for a nap

Pet care experience
I have over 12 years of hands-on experience raising and caring for a Border Collie. From managing the intense energy of a working puppy to providing delicate medical care for a senior dog, I have handled every life stage. Here is the specialized care I bring to your pet: Medical & Senior Care: I am highly experienced in administering oral and topical medications, managing specialized diets, monitoring daily health changes, and adhering to strict schedules for senior dogs. High-Energy Enrichment: Raising one of the most active breeds means I know exactly how to handle and tire out high-energy and high-intelligence dogs. I am familiar with various outdoor trails and environments, ensuring your dog gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Reliable Daily Routine: I am meticulous with daily feeding routines, basic clean-ups after muddy outdoor walks, and providing clear, consistent communication to owners.
