About Paul S.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I'll provide care uniquely tailored to each cat's needs. I first handle the basics: feeding, medicating if necessary, water change/refill, and litter box maintenance. My remaining time will be focused entirely on your cat(s), for petting, playtime, snacks, cuddles, etc.
Information Paul S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any safety concerns, anxiety triggers, or special needs, and also provide me with any emergency/vet contact info. For especially shy or feral kitties who won't come out of hiding, I could still take a wellness photo to send to you. If you'd like that, let me know where their hiding spots are.
A typical day
I will give your cat(s) plenty of attention, conversation, playtime, petting, back scritches, butt-pats, etc. Let me know their preferences, and I'll put that knowledge to work. If your kitty is too shy for any of that, I'll simply tend to their needs while respecting their boundaries.

Attentive & Reliable Cat Sitting
Pet care experience
-Available weekdays 3PM-8PM, and anytime on weekends. -For 1st time bookings, I prefer to first schedule a brief meet & greet at the pet parent's home (no charge). -I live in East Flatbush/Ditmas Park, close to Newkirk Plaza, and my day job is in Park Slope (Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM). -If you need a quick response for your booking request, please reach out before 8PM (I turn in early) I am a lifelong animal lover with extensive experience in pet care, providing insured drop-in visits and overnight cat sitting services. I grew up in a home with pets and helped take care of them, but my most intense training in pet care came from raising four ferrets over a span of 15 years, which required lots of love, patience, and attention, especially through their senior years. I’m experienced in administering medication to cats and small animals, but will only do so in situations where they take their medication easily (no restraining). Additional Notes: -Walk-up apartments should not exceed the 4th floor. -I'll gladly meet and pick up keys if you don't have a lockbox or doorman.
Reviews

Paul bonded with Beatrice very quickly (not the easiest feat with our shy cat!) and was extremely communicative before and during his visits, with lots of much appreciated pics.

Paul was great as always! I always know my cats are in good hands when I’m away.

Paul is communicative and easy to work with. We’re happy to receive daily updates of our little guy. Paul also dropped by our place (free of charge) to interact with our cat before the booking. Highly recommended this sitter!

Very professional and very easy to work with. Excellent. Highly recommend!!
