Semi retired couple love dogs and country walks
We’ve kept several pet dogs over the years. We had our last dog (a black Labrador) from a puppy but sadly he passed away in January 2021 at the grand age of 13. It broke our hearts so we haven’t replaced him but we have been walking and looking after dogs for friends in the area on an ad-hoc basis ever since. We would enjoy continuing to do so to include overnight stays at our house.

Paul and his family make Jura feel so welcome and she loves staying there. I get photo updates during her stay and it’s clear she’s being so well looked after.
Paul was brilliant with our dog. Based on the pictures and updates we received she was enjoying lots of attention, walks and tummy tickles. Paul took the time to understand her routine and make her feel as at home as possible.
Paul provided excellent care for our boy. He sent us photos and videos to update us as to how Onyx's day was going. Onyx clearly loved his walks together with the love and attention that Paul lavished upon him. Thank you Paul!
Mya was very well looked after by Paul & family. We were sent lots of pictures of a very content looking Mya on walks / sitting on the sofa & being cuddled by Paul. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul to any dog owner for a home from home experience.

Schedule
We are both semi-retired and now work part time on varying days each week. We are available to be at home every weekend, every evening and on alternating days each week.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a detached house on a modern housing estate on the edge of the small town of Wem. We have a large rear garden which is fully fenced with 6 foot panels and gates so it is suitable for a dog to run free and do toilet when needed. We are a short stroll from country fields and footpaths to enjoy long walks for exercise. There are no children at home anymore and no other pets.
A typical day
Long walks, play time with balls and cuddly toys. Lots of small parks and river to enjoy. Plenty of room to chill and snooze during downtime.
