Hi, I’m Paul, a former high school teacher looking to fill my pet void and your next pet sitter and dog walker extraordinaire! I pet sit because not only because I love animals but also because I love to help others and enjoy daily exercise and walking. Bringing a dog along with me is a win-win situation and now that summer is here, my schedule is wide open and ready to shape to yours! Pet sitting was my first job as a kid--it’s something I have enjoyed doing since growing up, and I’ve focused more intently on expanding my pet-sitting business over the last year. My background lies in not only teaching, but also the service industry and it’s part of my personality to teach and please others. In a nutshell, I’m an extremely dependable, compassionate and timely person who takes the time to understand specific instructions and can execute on them precisely. My main focus with the dogs in my care is keeping them active, which ultimately means keeping them happy! I love to be outdoors and prioritize healthy exercise and play for both myself and the pups. I take the business of having fun very seriously and after I get to know your individual needs a bit better, will create a customized care plan that will ensure your pup is healthy, happy and secure when hanging out with me! I have experience working with all types of breeds, temperaments and sizes of dogs and cats—send me a message detailing your needs and I will get back to you promptly! The best part about house sitting is that your dog or cat only have to adjust to me and not forced to get used to someone else’s surroundings. PLEASE NOTE: - Overnight Service covers nighttime care only. When booking Overnight Service, please remember to request any daytime drop-ins or walks you may need. Daytime care is scheduled separately, and I'm always happy to help make sure your pet gets the best care around the clock! Drop-In Services - If your dog will be crated, I require a minimum of 3 drop-in visits within a 24-hour period to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being. Walks - For your dog’s safety, I do not use any form of retractable leash. If you do not have a standard, non-retractable leash, I will provide one for the duration of the visit. I also encourage you to look into the potential hazards of retractable leashes for future use.
