Safety, trust & environment

I do not care for pets in my home. I do sometimes walk dogs to my backyard as it is fenced in but I don't let them off the lease.

Information Paul M. would like to know about your pet

Like to know if they are a rescue. Whether they have any medical conditions like weak limbs, or allergies. Would like to know if anything scares them and how they would like to be handled, in case, I have to lift them.

A typical day

Like to walk with dogs and play games like catch with a ball or tugging on something elastic. I like to have small dogs sit on my lap and bigger dogs I will get down on their level to do slow petting, similar to gentle massage or light scratching. Anything I can do to calm a dog down.

Pet care experience

Life long pet owner and animal lover. Dogs and Cats of all sizes and temperments are welcome. I am patient and will try to quickly establish a trusting bond by listening to them and watching how they act in my presence. I will go above and beyond the usual to care for your pet. My own dog is diabetic and blind. I still consider him a valued member of the family and twice daily administer a shot of insulin, as well as Chinese herbs specifically formulated for him. I am a very responsible person, easy for pets and humans to get along with. Each animal is different and I will take detailed notes and will gladly share my observations about what works and what doesn't work.

Always dependable and a total pro! Paul is great with our 12-year-old pooch and gives him his meds on each sitting. Thanks!

Awesome!!! Paul is wonderful and very professional. He kept us updated with dog-sitting, walking, and pill-giving. Our dog Newhart can be a little skittish with new people but Paul helped calm him and they are now good friends :) Newhart is 12 years old and has some recurring injuries, and Paul was great with sensitivity to this. Thank you Paul!!!

My cat tends to give new sitters the Cujo treatment but Paul was patient with him and made huge progress in getting him to relax and accept some food and company. Paul kept me fully updated each visit and had some helpful suggestions (who knew my cat liked folk music!) Highly recommend Paul as a sitter!

Paul was absolutely wonderful at minding my two babies while I was away, he gave thorough and descriptive information on his visits including their behaviors and what he did while he was there. He took multiple photos and even had a cuddle session with one of my cats on his lap. He was very understanding when my flight was cancelled and travel plans changed. I will definitely be requesting Paul next time I need a pet minder.
