Pet Sitter Paul

Providing Pet Drop-In Visits. Dog Walks. Cat care. Desert tortoises, too! I am an experienced animal care provider. My territory is the Summerlin area, the NW and SW parts of Las Vegas, and Spring Valley area. I have been working as a Professional Pet Sitter for over 12 years, 7 of those years with Rover. Previously I worked as a Kennel Attendant and a Veterinary Assistant. I used to work as a seasonal contractor for the San Diego Zoo working at the their Desert Tortoise Conservation Center field office in Las Vegas. I worked there for 4 years doing the daily tasks of taking care of desert tortoises. Now, I specialize in pet care services. I will provide sincere and diligent care for pets, taking care of their homes, and satisfying the needs of the pet owners. My specialties are the 30 minute dog walk or the 30 minute pet visit in which I provide potty breaks, food, water, treats, poop clean-up, play, social time, anything else needed, and if desired by the owner, a short walk. I have also provided pet care for desert tortoises and birds. Concerning House Sitting, please understand my rate per night includes a 12 to 14 hour overnight stay and a 2 to 6 hour midday daycare visit, plus any dog walks. Most important, I do pet sitting because I enjoy taking care of pets and making sure the pets and their owners are satisfied and happy - that's the main priority. I love what I do!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I don't board pets in my home, I come to the owner's home. I will do my best to be a friend to the pet and be a good substitute while the owners are absent from the home. I will make sure the pets are safe and sound and that the home is secure. If they need exercise and playtime, I will do that, too.

As our dog get older and has more health requirements, I’m so happy to have Paul be the one caring for him while we’re gone! We always come home to a very happy and well-loved dog, who misses Paul when he leaves! Thank you!

I’ve used Paul 6-7 times to walk my dogs and for housesitting my dogs and cat this past week. He’s is extremely kind, patient and we arrived home to happy pets with a spotless home. It’s like we never left! Paul provides detailed updates and is extremely punctual. He also has a love of all animals, treating them like his own. We will without a doubt choose Paul again!

Schedule

I am available almost every day but I would like one to two weeks notice before a pet sitting booking request. My Rover "Quiet Time" is 9PM to 6AM daily, meaning Rover messages after 9PM are delayed to me until 6AM the following morning.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Paul can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
Does the dog or cat need prescribed medicines? Does the dog get separation anxiety if the owners leave for an extended time? Is the dog potty-trained? Please, have your pet spayed or neutered - I do not accept female cats or dogs who will go into heat.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
