Pet care is my primary focus, and I structure my day around the dogs in my care. Because I limit the number of families I accept at one time, I'm able to provide a quieter, more personalized experience than many traditional boarding options. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised yard time, playtime, and plenty of time relaxing indoors. If dogs from different households are to remain separate, I have the space and routine to ensure everyone receives individual attention and equal time throughout the day. Many of my guests are senior dogs, anxious dogs, or dogs with special routines, so I am comfortable administering oral medications, following detailed feeding instructions, and maintaining established schedules. I am often a good fit for dogs that do not do well in traditional kennels or large group boarding environments. I spend most of my time at home and rarely leave dogs unattended for extended periods. My goal is to make your dog's stay as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible while keeping you updated with photos and videos throughout their visit.

Information Paul D. would like to know about your pet
I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels, from senior dogs that need a quiet environment to younger, high-energy breeds that require more activity and engagement. I am also comfortable caring for dogs with special needs, including those with physical limitations, anxiety, or specific routines. I can administer oral medications and follow detailed feeding or medication schedules as needed. During or before our initial meet and greet please let me know about any behavioral concerns, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special requirements so I can make sure your dog has the safest and most comfortable stay possible. There is no need to bring toys unless your dog has a favorite comfort item. I keep plenty of toys on hand, and treasured toys have a habit of disappearing under couches or into the yard before pickup day.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I try to tailor their stay to their personality and routine. Most days include plenty of supervised yard time, relaxation indoors, and lots of one-on-one attention. I have a large fenced yard for dogs that enjoy exploring, playing fetch, or keeping an eye on the local squirrel population, which many of my guests find endlessly entertaining. Dogs that are comfortable using the dog door are free to come and go between the house and yard throughout the day. My home is quiet and low-key, with no resident pets or children. Many dogs appreciate the calmer environment, especially seniors, nervous dogs, or dogs that don't enjoy large group boarding situations. Dogs are welcome on the couches, and I try to accommodate their normal sleeping arrangements whenever possible. I spend most of my day at home with the dogs in my care and provide regular photo and video updates. All of my clients receive pictures and short videos throughout their dog's stay so they can see exactly how their pet is settling in and enjoying their time here. Whether your dog enjoys playing in the yard, watching the world from a comfy bed, or simply relaxing near people, my goal is to make their stay feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Stress-Free Home Boarding
Pet care experience
For over 25 years I've owned and cared for dogs of all sizes, from Corgis to German Shepherds. Today I offer individualized home boarding designed for dogs who do best in a calm, home environment rather than a traditional kennel. I intentionally limit the number of families I host at one time, typically boarding no more than two families simultaneously. This allows me to provide individualized care and maintain a low-stress environment. Many of my clients choose me because their dogs are seniors, anxious around unfamiliar dogs, have special routines, or simply prefer a quieter setting. I do not mix dogs from different households without the knowledge and prior approval of both owners. When your dog stays with me, you can feel confident that they won't unexpectedly be sharing space with unfamiliar animals. Each family has their own dedicated space, and dogs receive plenty of individual attention, yard time, and relaxation time indoors. I even have a spare "dog room" with a bed overlooking the front yard—a favorite spot for many of my guests. Through years of dog ownership, fostering, and volunteer work with local rescue organizations, I have experience working with nervous dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications, following detailed feeding instructions, and maintaining established routines. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free stay where your dog receives the same level of care and attention I would want for my own. If you have questions about your dog's specific needs, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to discuss whether I'd be a good fit.
Reviews

Thank you, Paul, for another wonderful experience of care for our pups and communications with us!

I was apprehensive about starting my 2 dogs at daycare because they get separation anxiety when away from me, but they were happy and calm with Paul. They love the big backyard that provides space for them to explore. Paul was great and provided updates with photos and videos throughout the day. An excellent experience! Will definitely be rebooking!
Paul took excellent care of our three dogs. He sent several videos of our dogs playing in his large back yard and quickly responded to all of my texts. The dogs were also comfortable inside the house and receiving attention. I highly recommend Paul to care for your dogs.
Paul is absolutely great with Paxton. Paxton loves the fenced in back yard, and hanging out with Paul. He sends great updates and takes good care of Paxton. Thanks Paul!
