East end dog lovers at the ready!

Hey! We are an Irish couple living in the heart of Leslieville. We occupy the first floor and basement of a house with close access to the waterfront for walks and outdoor fun. Katie works fully remotely and Paul works hybrid during the weekdays and have our evenings and weekends free. We are pretty active people, who have come from rural farming backgrounds in Ireland so are well used to and love animals. Look forward to meeting you and your pup! The east end has a number of parks and leash free areas for us to explore!

Another great cat sitting experience with Paul and Katie taking care of our cat Olive. We can go away and not worry about our how she’s being cared for which is fantastic. Olive is diabetic and needs daily insulin shots and can be a bit of a diva and Paul and Katie know all her tricks and we come home to a relaxed cat and a spotless home!

Another great experience with Paul and Katie taking care of our cat Olive. We always know that Olive is in great hands with them - she’s diabetic so needs insulin injections and to make sure she’s drinking enough and they are great at communicating and letting us know how she is doing which is so appreciated!

Another great experience with Paul and Katie! Any animal lover knows how much a relief it is to know your pet will be well taken care of when you go away - our Olive needs insulin twice a day and can be cautious around people but not Paul and Katie. Great communication, fun updating photos and our house looks great when we come home to our happy cat.

Another great experience with Paul and Katie staying in our home with our cat Olive. Olive is a rescue with diabetes who needs insulin twice daily. She can take a bit to warm up to people because of her difficult past, but she loves Paul and Katie. It’s a load off my mind to have such diligent caretakers watching over her. They keep us regularly updated with photos also which I love. Plus our house is left spotless when we return to a relaxed cat!

Paul and Katie are fantastic! Our corgi Willow had a TPLO surgery on her knee a month before we were going away so we were understandably nervous leaving her anywhere. Paul and Katie were so good with her and sent tons of updates. Their excellent care of Willow really put our minds at ease and let us enjoy our trip instead of worrying the whole time. 10/10

Paul and Katie are awesome! They were very accommodating with my dog’s needs, and super understanding about her reactivity/ anxiety. My dog looked super comfortable in the updates they sent, which gave me peace of mind while I was away.

Safety, trust & environment

We only take one client at a time to devote all my time and energy into minding each dog to my best ability. Good exercise, consistent meals and time relaxing are tool I've implemented to help dogs acclimatize to a new space when minding!

A typical day

A good morning walk always gets my day off to a good start, usually down by the waterfront as it's closeby. I find walking in the morning or evening is a good way to beat the heat of the summer, and the local area has places that are dog friendly or if my guest prefers quieter walks, there are plenty of calm side streets for exploring.
