Pet care experience

A safe, loving space for your dog

I've been around dogs for over 25 years. I raised my miniature schnauzer, Shadow, from a puppy to 16 years old, so I've been through every stage from puppy chaos to senior slow walks. These days I have my Australian cattle dog, Tyson, at home, and his brother Blu lives with my parents, so dogs have pretty much always been part of my life. Living with a high energy herding breed has taught me a lot about structure, exercise, and keeping a dog mentally stimulated, not just tired out. Whether your dog is calm and easygoing or needs a bit more attention, I'll adjust to their pace and keep things consistent. You can expect clear communication, a reliable routine, and someone who actually enjoys the work.

Schedule

I work from home, which means I have a lot of flexibility and get to make my own schedule most days. That flexibility lets me be available for walks, drop-ins, or boarding without being boxed into a strict 9 to 5. I feed my own dog before 7am and again after 4pm, though the exact timing shifts a bit depending on what the day looks like. That same flexibility means I can adjust to fit your dog's routine instead of asking them to fit into mine.

Safety, trust & environment

My home has a fully fenced backyard, so your dog will have safe space to run and explore outside. We're also close to several parks and walking trails, plus Patapsco State Park nearby for longer hikes if your dog has more energy to burn. I like to keep walks and outdoor time varied so dogs get more than just a lap around the block. Your dog's safety and comfort come first, and I'll adjust the routine to whatever makes them feel most at ease.
