Patty's Petite Pooch Playhouse - All Your Dog's Needs Under One Woof! For over 15 years, I have provided superior, loving care in my home for small dogs (up to 15-17 lbs). Treating my little guests as my own makes my clients feel their sweet pups are in their second home. The number of dogs I care for is kept to a minimum so the love and attention they receive are well above most standards. Additionally, I believe I have a second sense for understanding those in my care which creates a safe, peaceful, and caring environment for their entire stay. I simply adore animals and see them as more than just an animal! Location: Carson City, Nevada My husband and I are retirees who absolutely love dogs and cats. I have volunteered at both the Dane County Humane Society in Madison, WI, and the Nevada Humane Society here in Carson City. I have been an advocate for animal rescue and preservation for many years. Caring for animals is second nature to me as I have had cats and dogs since I was in my 20s! We have 3 dogs that co-exist exceptionally well. Our animals are extremely well-socialized and enjoy the company! (Mom is boring.) Your dog will have a wonderful time with us. All our dogs visit/stay with us in the living room with dog beds on the floor where toys abound. We do have a crate if parents request some quiet time for their pup. We also have a separate room if everyone needs time to get adjusted to one another. All our dogs (guests and family) get a walk every day, as well as frequent backyard breaks which they all seem to think, is great! There is a large fenced-in yard for them to play in. We are proud of the quality of care we provide and treat every dog that comes to us as our own with lots of love, cuddles, playtime, and close interaction. Every dog guest gets the attention and watchfulness to protect and care for them. So everyone has a great time here are a few of our policies: **All dogs should be fully house-trained. If a puppy, we can discuss. **Any day a dog is in our care, the daily fee is assessed. **All dogs are requested to have a collar with tags that list name and parent's phone number **All dogs must have current vaccinations for Rabies and Kennel Cough (Bordetella). I had just moved to the area and one of my dogs was rushed to surgery. Patty and Randy responded so fast and were able to take in my other dog the same day. Thanks to them watching him so well I was able to help my older dog recover. Ziggy is an anxious timid boy but when I picked him up he was so happy and clean. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my boy. As long as I live in the area I will sure use them again. Recommend 100 times.
Oh my goodness!! Patty and Randy were amazing with our Diggs. He stayed with them for 3 weeks. They treated him like one of their own and it was very apparent. He came home happy and we will definitely be using them again!!
The Patty and Randy duo took great care of our Suzie. They showed great concern about her shyness and kept us in the loop about how Suzie was doing with them, as well as their own dogs. If we have another trip in the future they’ll be our first pick to take care of Suzie.
I was so happy to find Patty and Raymond! I was going on a 6 day trip and have never been away from my do that long, I was extremely anxious. I felt at ease the moment I met with Patty and Raymond and their dogs did great with mine. The fact that they specialize in small dogs really helped my nerves as well. Patty and Raymond were extremely flexible and accommodating. When I picked up Bittie she had obviously been well taken care of and given tons of love. Patty and Raymond will definitely be my go to from now on, and I thoroughly trust them with the care of Bittie.
I'm always nervous when someone new watches our little girl Riley, but Patty and Randy made us feel at ease as soon as we dropped Riley off. Love that its only small dogs as that is so hard to find (especially near South Lake Tahoe). Great communication and just lovely people all around - highly recommend!
Very happy I found Patty and Randy! They were so kind and caring, Luna had a great time staying with them. Will definitely use them again!

I am retired and provide full-time care for your pups! They will be my first priority for the entire time they are with us. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Safety, trust & environment
When I take a dog into my care, they become our own for the entire time they are with us. I make extra effort to stay in communication with you via texts, videos, and/or pictures. You will know they are being well-cared for and loved! Please be advised that we do not transport your dog via automobile for safety and liability reasons.

A typical day
Every day is tailored to the needs of your dog. Feeding time is as it would be at home, We walk our guests when we know the time, temperature and weather is the best for them. We play outside in our big, fenced-in yard, and modify play to accommodate a pet's personality (some dogs love to play catch and others like to just hang out). We have a wonderful neighborhood to walk with a nice park only a short distance from us. Evenings are a time for all to snuggle in comfy beds near us and enjoy winding down for the day!
