For more than five decades, I have cared for 10 dogs, two cats, one guinea pig, and one hamster as well as my adult children's six dogs and two cats. Our family has had many mixed-breed dogs adopted from animal shelters and a few purebred dogs and welcomed some as puppies, some as adults, and some senior dogs. Recently, the neighborhood cat decided to move in and I have loved having him join us. Now that I am retired from work and from caring for my grandchildren when they were infants and toddlers, my schedule is flexible and I am happy to work with you to create the best schedule for you, me, and your pets. I would love to welcome your pets into my home, but my dog has anxiety issues and the cat likes his life as he has organized it. So it is best for me to care for your pets in your home, including feeding, walking, socializing, and playtime. I am retired so I am pretty much available whenever. I can't board in my home but I can house sit and do drop ins. I just don't have the space at my place. I can't do care at my place as I do not have the room. I also have pets that get nervous around other animals and new people.
