When caring for pets in my home, I ensure a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can relax and feel at ease. My home is pet-friendly, with plenty of space for them to play, explore, and rest. I provide constant supervision during playtime to ensure their safety and well-being. I also make sure to follow any special care instructions provided by the pet owners, whether it’s for feeding, medication, or specific needs. My goal is to create a home-away-from-home experience where pets feel secure and loved.
A typical day
I believe in making everyday fun and engaging for the pets I care for. I ensure plenty of playtime, exercise, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and active. I enjoy interactive play with toys like balls, ropes, and squeakers to keep dogs entertained and engaged. We also do fun fetch games, tug-of-war, and use puzzle toys to challenge their minds. When it’s time for outings, I get them excited to hop into my van, where they know an adventure awaits! Whether it’s a visit to a local park or a fun new spot, the van ride is always a special part of the day. I take the dogs on regular walks around the neighborhood or to new places, providing a change of scenery and plenty of opportunities to explore. For puppies or dogs working on basic commands, I incorporate training sessions into our playtime, which is a great way to bond while teaching them useful skills. I also make sure there’s time for cuddles and relaxation, especially for dogs that enjoy downtime, creating a calm, comforting space for them to unwind. Every pet is different, so I tailor the activities based on their individual preferences and energy levels to ensure they have a great time while in my care. This gives a playful touch to the experience!!
