Highlights
Pet care experience
Highly food-motivated human person.
My background includes veterinary nursing and exotic animal care. I've undergone many thousands of hours of feeding, befriending and caring for a dizzying variety of animals in a perplexing array of contexts including shelter care, walk-in clinics, hospitals, sanctuaries and the occasional backyard. I've done a little bit of everything, a lot of bit of some things. I'll ensure that they're as happy as possible in your absence.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
If there are specific activities they love, then we'll do them, because happy dogs are healthier dogs. Otherwise, I'll be co-existing with them and doing my best to keep them occupied. Besides religiously checking their water, I like to have a schedule in front of me to adhere to: anything time-sensitive won't be missed (ie insulin, oral medications), and will note anything to bring to your attention.
Ratings and reviews
Patrick was extremely patient and calm with our anxious and overexcited dogs. We really appreciated that he was able to calm them down and take the time they needed to trust him and feel safe.
ZoZo is a bit of a stubborn one and Patrick was able to overcome that with a bit of consistency. He’s timely, kind with ZoZo, and I think she even mostly looks forward to him coming around now - high praise!!

Patrick is so easy to work with. My dogs love him. He Leo's the house nice and clean. I can't say enough good things. He's perfect. Thanks for saving the day !

Always great

Patrick watched my 2 corgis last minute and took amazing care of my dogs and my home. I highly recommend him and will be using him in the future!

Patrick is friendly, patient, and very personable. My girl wasn’t excited about walking with a stranger but he’s managed to, through hook, crook, bribery, and patience, win her tacit agreement. I think she almost kind of likes him now! All joking aside, he’s been really great with ZoZo during a hard period of transition. We are grateful and will definitely be repeat customers.
