Hi! My name is Patrick. Animals have been a large part of my life since I can remember. Dogs especially. My family and I have had and cared for many dogs over the years. I've been more than happy to watch dogs for all my friends and family, and for the last few years have been sitting dogs on Rover! Previously I was able to care for dogs throughout the day since I worked remotely. My schedule has recently shifted and my girlfriend Ashley and I now share the responsibility and are able to watch dogs from my home which allows us to give our full attention to the furry friends that stay with us. Patrick is the best dog host I have come across on rover ! He kept me posted about my dog regularly with text updates and pics. I could tell my dog was very well cared for, he seemed very relaxed and happy when I picked him up :)

Schedule
I work from home half of the week and can care for dogs throughout the day where I often take frequent walks with them. The other half of the week Ashley is home most of the day to play and take the dogs on outings before I come home around 6pm.

Safety, trust & environment
We have ample space for dogs in our home, and plenty of doggy amenities like beds and toys. There is always somebody home throughout the day to spend time with our visiting furry friends. We have a partially fenced yard so we often take dogs out on leash every few hours. For our more active furry friends we take longer walks in the mornings and evenings. We also have a cat name Momo who grew up with dogs and often keeps to her self. She tends to shy away from more curious dogs and has her own separate space she can go to if needed.

A typical day
We provide frequent walks, love playing fetch, early morning hiking, and dog outings to dog parks or dog friendly spaces, depending on owners preference. We also have a pool for our furry friends who loves to swim.
