I started a dog care business 29 years ago in the 4th grade, taking care of dogs in my neighborhood. My work involved simple feeding, walking, and companionship when their owners were out of town. I grew up always having a dog (or several), and cats in the house, and have always felt a natural bond with animals. Over the years, almost everywhere that I have lived has been shared with pets, and regardless of whether they were mine or my roommates', I have always looked at them as if they were my own. I don't currently have any pets, but since I care for many of my friends' fur babies on a regular basis, I believe caring for pets through Rover would be a natural fit and easy next step for me. I also don't mind doing other little things too, like house chores, grabbing pet food or groceries from the store, or making use of my time in whatever else might help you or your family out.

I couldn’t be happier with the care provided by Patrick. Patrick’s stayed in my home and treated it with complete respect, I came back to a place that was just as clean and tidy, as I loved it. What really stood out, though was the bond Patrickbuilt with my dog. He took him on multiple outings, kept him active and happy, and made sure he felt loved the entire time. The daily updates were such a comfort. I received at least three photos or videos every day, and it was clear from every one of them that my dog was relaxed, engaged, and having a great time. It’s ready to find someone who not only handles the basics but genuinely connects with your pets. I would absolutely book Patrick again. This was the kind of experience that gives you total peace of mind while you’re away and that’s priceless!

Patrick was quick to respond with updates and pics. I have two senior cats and a senior dog and I know they are great hands when Patrick is there. Ray loved his walk and my cats appreciate the extra pets and cuddles for sure. I (and my pets) look forward to have him back again when we go out of town. Thanks Patrick!

Schedule
I have some extra free time on my hands during the days, and I'd like to start filling that up with some more meaningful animal interactions! I might have a few errands to run, but usually am open throughout the day, and can make visits as late as needed (Mon-Sun). I am just starting Rover, and will not be looking to focus on boarding at this time, however, I am not opposed to it, and would be open to discussing this possibility.

I am happy to travel to clients' homes for any care that they request or may require. I truly enjoy spending time with, and taking walks with dogs. So consequently, if you don't want your animals being pet a lot and hugged nonstop, then I might not be the person for you. I have plenty of references as well, if you would like to contact and get an idea of the type of person I am. Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile and learn a little bit about me. I am excited to hopefully start building a friendship with you and your animals!
A typical day
I walk about 3-5 miles myself everyday anyways, so I am more than happy to go on long walks with your pet to make sure they get the activity they need and deserve. I will also incorporate play into our routine by throwing balls/toys, playing fetch and giving plenty of head an butt scratches. I will provide a lot of love and affection to ensure that your pet truly feels loved and cared for while you're not there.
