I view meeting a new pet just like meeting a human: first impression, exploration, and eventually, a harmonious relationship. I let your pet approach me at their own pace, reading their body language to ensure they feel safe and respected. Safety & Peace of Mind Home Respect: I maintain a smoke-free, sober lifestyle and treat your property with the utmost care, double-checking all doors, locks, and gates. Routine & Consistency: I follow your feeding, walking, and medical schedules precisely to minimize separation anxiety. Open Communication: You can expect frequent photo and text updates so you always know your pet is thriving. I am even open to doing Zoom sessions, if so desired.

My girlfriend and I recently got a puppy. Her name is Juno. Because my girlfriend and I have busy lives (I am working at the Loveland airport with a schedule that sometimes has me working nights, and my girlfriend is often gone out of town for work), we have been relying on Patrick to stay at our house with Juno. Patrick is highly reliable. He is intuitive with our puppy, who can be a handful. Patrick takes care of everything for us while we are gone and we have zero concerns. Juno really enjoys Patrick staying with him as well. Overall, I highly recommend this guy for any pet needs you might have.
Patrick has watched my dog several times while I was gone. Jubal actually seems to look forward to these trips. I know Patrick treats Jubel well. I know he plays with him (he always sends me pictures), takes him on walks and I know they have a play routine. Overall, I am very happy about how Patrick treats Jebel. I have also seen him interact with other animals (dogs and cats) and he is genuinely after their best interest, always making sure their needs are met. I would not hesitate to recommend Patrick for any pet-sitting situation.
Patrick is great with cats! He reads them well and is very respectful of their individual needs and is equally good with shy kitties and more friendly ones. He makes sure that meals and snacks are given on time, boxes are scooped, meds are given without a fight, and he notices when something's off with either of them. He spends a good deal of time playing with them, too, so they get attention and exercise, not just feeding. Reliable, easy to communicate with, and sends photos unprompted.

Schedule
Because my schedule is predictable and flexible, pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I am currently teaching a third of a psychology course for CSU online, which leaves me with plenty of open, flexible free time throughout the day. Since my teaching responsibilities are entirely virtual and manageable, my primary daily focus is being fully available for your pets. When I am not teaching, I enjoy staying active by riding my road bike on our local Fort Collins roads and trails or spending time playing my guitars. I will easily structure these personal hobbies around your pet's specific needs, ensuring they receive consistent companionship, timely potty breaks, and plenty of attention. Reach out to me and I would be happy to chat with you about your particular needs! Do note that for overnights, I do bring my own food and will not cook in your home. My dinner while "on the road" typically consists of a sandwich and/or veggies to munch on.
