Your dog’s home away from home
With a dog of our own, we fully recognise it can be a very difficult decision to decide who to leave your dog with. That was part of the reason I signed up here, so we could also give back. Rest assured your dog will see our home as an extension of your own. They will have a lot of company, and not have a moment to get lonely. That's because normally both my wife and I are at home all day, and we also have our own beautiful golden retriever for an extra layer of companionship. She's very gentle and also loves to have friends come visit. My wife and I have both had dogs since we were young, of all different types and sizes. Working from home allows us to be fully present for your dog, and we can cater their care around your preferred needs or routine. Typically we would do 2 walks a day, these can be on lead or off lead. We have a large garden with woodland at the back (lots of wildlife). It's all fenced in with sheep fencing. If your dog is particularly inclined to dig or jump high - then we would need to be mindful of this. They will get a lot of attention and we will be instructed by you in terms of how your want their day to look in terms of exercise, meal times, treats, any medication and all these types of things. Patrick and family were great in looking after Millie, our Golden Retriever! Millie immediately felt 'at home' when she realised that Patrick also has a Golden Retriever. The two of them had a fine time together. Patrick responded really quickly and clearly to our messages, so timings etc were very easy to confirm. We were also sent pics of Millie and their retriever playing together. We would definitely recommend Patrick and fully intend to use again!
Patrick is brilliant. When we had a panic having to go away for a few days and called him the night before we left. He willingly took our dog into his home even at such short notice. His updates were regular showing great walks and a very happy dog. He followed our instructions to the letter. A fantastic experience for us all. I heartily recommend Patrick.

Patrick loves dogs. He has had a dog from young and he has a lovely connection with them. He has his own very well behaved dog. He is a very organised and reliable person, he has looked after my dog on a number of occasions I would highly recommend him
Patrick is a lovely person, the whole family are very much including their dog Evie. She seems to love all dogs and is very patient and kind. They looked after my small elderly dog Lola very lovingly. They live near a beautiful large woods so your dog gets great walks too. Would highly recommend Patrick to pet sit.

Schedule
Pet care is already very much part of our daily lives, with Evie our Golden Retriever. My wife or I will be out walking typically in the nearby woods in the morning. Both of us work from home, so are readily available all day. One of us will also take them for an evening walk before sunset.

Safety, trust & environment
We are happy to be guided by the owners needs. We have a fenced in garden which the dogs are free to roam on. During the day they can either sleep on their own bed or one that we can provide. They can be with our golden retriever in the open plan kitchen, or in one of the offices with my wife or I if they prefer.
Pets
A typical day
We live right next to some beautiful woods and fields, so within minutes of living the house we are out in nature. We can offer walks on or off the lead, however you feel most comfortable. They can either join our dog Evie, or we can take them separately. During the day we can play ball in the garden - and pop out for additional lunch time walks (maybe even a few treats!)
