Availability

I'm a full-time cat sitter, so your feline furry companions are my life and blood! I'm no fly-by-night operation, and I love what I do! I'm available weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. I live near Piedmont Avenue, with easy access to the surrounding neighborhoods. I prefer local, so I can walk, but I do have a vehicle and take my kitty-care most anywhere. From Adams Point, Grand Lake, to Piedmont to the Avenue to Temescal and beyond (Emeryville, Rockridge, and South Berkeley, I'm looking at you 😺)! Previously, I opened and owned an art framing & gallery space (Panorama, on Grand Avenue, which did survive the pandemic shutdown); was a commercial photographer; and was a bookseller -- I also currently (occasionally) freelance in the digital realm, and pursue art making. If you are traveling for work or for holidays, or need a drop-in when you're not wfh, please reach out! >^•-•^<

Safety, trust & environment

All my work has involved customer care and service, and I strive to be both as professional and as caring as can be. I am bonded and insured, through Rover but also personally since I have many direct clients. Any pets who are under my care get the same treatment I would hope for myself—patience, kindness, unconditional love, and acceptance. And, oh yeah, treats. :-) I adore learning about my furball pals, from where they like their skritches and also where they don't -- Shy and elder kittenz are my faves to get to know 😸 I also want to note that my client's privacy is very important to me -- In addition to your feline companion(s), you're entrusting me with your keys, your home, and belongings, and your trust. I appreciate this and value this immensely.

Information Patrick C. would like to know about your pet

* How many times do you want me to visit your kitty per day? I recommend twice (am/pm), but will follow your request. * Does your kitty have any special diet needs? How often is feeding time? Are they social eaters or like to be left alone during meal time? If I bring treats, what should I definitely carry, and what should I leave at home? * Is your cat taking any medication? If so, how often will it need to be administered? * Is there anything I should know about your cat(s) before we play together? Are they shy? Not shy? Skittish? What kind of attention is best for your cat's needs? Any sensitive areas on your cat? Are they escape artists? Can they be picked up? Belly rubs, anyone?

A typical day

I can be as quiet or as playful as needed! I enjoy being able to tune in to a cat's frequency—some are coquettish, some are reserved, some are social butterflies, some are goofballs, some like belly rubs, some prefer a feather toy, and so forth...Trust me that I'll give your pet the best lovinz for them.

Cat care experience

Your cats will love me! 😺 ----------------------- I'm booking now for mid-July and beyond! I've been a full time cat sitter for a solid five years, and I am highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented. I am COVID vaccinated. I provide photo updates and detailed notes for each visit, so you can relax and refuel! Don’t tell the other species, but I have a special connection with and fondness for felines. (When I was an infant, Isadora the Siamese spooned me while I slept in my cradle. So, I consider myself part kitten). I'm versed in pill giving, administering subcutaneous injections (insulin, etc), giving fluids; I also adore all my elder or special needs kittenz. And, without apology or embarrassment, you'll see a lot of cat-face emojis in my communication with you 😹😸 My rates are 40 for one cat, 45 for two or more (before whatever fees Rover adds). I also want to note that my clients' privacy is very important to me -- In addition to your feline companion(s), you're entrusting me with your keys, your home, and belongings, and your trust. I appreciate this and value this immensely.
