Pet care experience
I care about pet people.
Your pet will enjoy our large fenced in yard that can accomodate dogs of all sizes. We still have our small dog area if needed, and it can also serve as a quick rainy day potty area. I understand the love of pets and the difficult decisions that sometimes need to be made to leave them while travelling. I have been the caregiver many times, and I have needed the service others provided. I treat visiting pets like one of my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small yorkie mix and a large orange cat that will love having a furry friend around to play with under my close supervision. The dog is in charge of daily fence checks to see if there are any tiny openings to squeeze through. So far so good! But please let me know in advance if your dog is a digger or a jumper. I can easily check on your pet at your home if this suits you better. I have even cared for an entire young litter at my own home that complicated their family's holiday plans. I will carefully evaluate your needs, and I will not take on a situation for which I am not qualified.
Ratings and reviews
Was exceptionally nice and great with my Roxanne. Sent pics and kept in contact, was a pleasure to work with.
My shy Harley liked Patty. Very nice welcoming home. I’m happy to have found her and plan to take Harley there again.

Patricia truly went above and beyond when taking care of our cat while we were away for a two week vacation. Our cat Louie had a history of emotional distress, which included him refusing to eat during times of change or upset to his routine. We recently adopted him a few months ago and he was completely shut down after losing his home of seven years. It took me months of working with him to get him to start eating again normally and to start gaining weight so we were quite concerned when we had to go away and leave him for a couple of weeks. I found Patricia on the Rover app at the last minute when my previous pet sitter backed out due to a family emergency. Patricia responded quickly and was very caring and understanding about Louis special needs. She checked in with us daily and provided as many photos as Louie would allow since he trended to hide quite a bit, but towards the end of her time with him, he opened up and even cuddled with her several times, which surprised is quite a bit. When we got back home, my house was clean and perfect just as I left it and Louie looked great.! would definitely use Patricia again next time we go out of town

Went above and beyond

Our dog had so much fun! He had a play date with another puppy, and he was brushed when we picked him up.
Patty took wonderful care of my three elderly cats while I was away for a few days. She were attentive, reliable, and made sure my cats were comfortable and well cared for. I came home to happy, relaxed pets—highly recommend!

I am home full-time, so caring for your furry family member can be top priority in my days. I am very versatile with arranging my small ranch house into separate areas to meet the needs of each dog. There is no need to find multiple places. I will certainly take more than one pet if they are from the same family.

- I mentioned already that I need to know if your dog has jumping or digging skills that can defy a 5 foot chain link fence. If your dog prefers time alone I understand this and can rearrange my spaces as needed. I am not medically qualified for anything unusual, but I will do what it takes to keep your dog safe. I keep a pretty level head in an animal emergency, but of course I would prefer to not have any of those. How does your dog sleep? Bring something comforting that smells like home if this is his or her first time away. Trust me, I will understand any quirky habits because I have known a lot of fun yet funny dogs!
