Pet care experience

We love dogs !

I love giving dogs a great outdoor experience, not just a walk around the block. We take our time sniffing, exploring, and letting them enjoy the walk their way. When your dog stays with us, they’re part of the family. My work is hybrid, so I’m home most days and can keep them close as a work buddy. Our backyard is their playground for chasing squirrels, sunbathing, and getting plenty of love and belly rubs. We also have two kids who adore dogs. If yours is a social pup, they’ll get lots of gentle attention. If your dog prefers quiet time, we’ll respect that too. We’re happy to care for small pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, and some reptiles and birds, as long as you bring their food, bedding, and usual setup so they feel at home.

Really kind sitter. They treated Ivy like she was part of the family and sent me adorable updates. They were so gracious when I had to book last minute and didn’t get to do a meet and greet. Highly recommend!!

Being gone for two weeks out of country, I wouldn't leave Lily with just anybody. Patricia and her family cared for Lily as if she was a member of their family. Lily cries with excitement when we get close to her home. That is Lily's review of Patricia and her family!

Patricia and her family were the perfect sitters for my anxious Boxer, Duke. At our meet and greet they asked great questions about his care and address all of my concerns. I received great communication and photos of Duke enjoying his time in their home. 10/10 would board Duke with them again.

Patricia and her family were amazing with Mason. Patricia updated me how Mason was doing with photos and videos throughout his stay. Patricia took care of even the last minute requests we thought of in the middle of the stay. I’m so grateful!!!

Schedule

Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. My work is hybrid, so about 3 days a week I head into the office, and your dog may be alone for up to 5 hours on those days. We make sure they’re walked and settled into a cozy, enclosed area with everything they need before I go. The rest of the week, either my husband or I are home, aside from running errands here and there, so your pup gets plenty of attention and potty breaks throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

We keep a close eye on pets in our home and make sure the yard is secure for outdoor time. Our two kids adore dogs and are gentle and respectful, so if your pup enjoys company they’ll get plenty of it, and if they prefer quiet space, we’ll make sure they have it. Important to consider, our house has stairs and your pup must be able to go up and down as they follow us. We’re also happy to care for small pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, and certain reptiles and birds, as long as they come with their usual food, bedding, and setup.

A typical day

We love making walks fun, not just a quick trip around the block. We explore the neighborhood, let them sniff out interesting scents, and enjoy the walk at their pace. At home, they get backyard time to chase squirrels, sunbathe, and relax, along with plenty of cuddles and belly rubs.

It helps us to know your pet’s routine, crate training experience, habits, and how they get along with kids, so we can make them feel right at home. Any quirks or behavioral details are welcome too, the more we know, the better we can care for them. Please also note that we do not allow pets on the furniture, so we ask that you help prepare them for that ahead of time.
