We’re Patty and Steve — a pet-loving duo who truly enjoy caring for animals together and offer availabilities for extended housesits. As a couple, we bring double the attention, playtime, and affection to every pet we care for. Both of us grew up on opposite coasts as devoted pet parents, so we understand how important routines, personalities, and little quirks are when it comes to animals. Every pet has their own unique needs and idiosyncrasies, and we take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Through our travels around the country, we’ve had the opportunity to housesit and petsit for many wonderful families and animals of all kinds and all ages (from pups to seniors with various needs). Across multiple platforms, we’ve cared for 60+ pets and earned over 35 five-star reviews from happy owners who trusted us with their homes and beloved companions. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding routines, or special care instructions, we’re happy to accommodate whatever helps your pet feel loved and at ease. Our goal is always to make their time with us feel fun, active, nurturing, and as close to their normal routine as possible. Because we both work primarily from home, we’re able to provide consistent attention and maintain a stable routine — something that can be especially helpful for pets during overnight or extended stays. We also love keeping owners connected while they’re away. You can expect regular photo and text updates, so you always have peace of mind knowing your fur baby (and home) are being well cared for. We feel incredibly lucky to spend time with animals and treat every pet we watch with the same love and care we would give our own!

We approach every pet and home with care, respect, and attention to detail. Through house- and pet-sitting experiences, we’ve cared for pets during stays ranging from a few days to over a month, and we understand how important it is to maintain a pet’s normal routine while their family is away. Every animal is different, so we take the time to learn each pet’s personality, behaviors, and comfort level. Our goal is always to meet pets where they are so they can feel safe, relaxed, and build trust with us naturally. We’re experienced in following specific routines and care instructions, whether that includes crate time, structured feeding schedules, managing separation anxiety, or providing extra attention and reassurance for pets who need it. For dogs, we’re comfortable handling a variety of walking styles and equipment, including harnesses, standard leashes, retractable leashes, pinch collars, and e-collars. Safety on walks is very important to us, and we always prioritize controlled, attentive handling. We also have experience with different feeding needs, administering medications, and attending to special care instructions so pets stay healthy and comfortable while you’re away. When staying in a client’s home, we treat it with the same respect we would our own and aim to keep the environment calm, consistent, and secure for your pets. Our goal is for them to feel loved, cared for, and as comfortable as possible in their familiar surroundings. We’re always happy to communicate and provide photo and text updates, so you can relax knowing your pets and home are in caring and capable hands.

Patricia and Steven were great! Really easy to communicate with and coordinate. And they were able to help me out at the last minute. Steven came to my house to sit my dog Squid and he was super friendly. We had really great conversations during the handoffs both before and after the sitting. He was super punctual and texted me photos of Squid while he was watching him. I would 100% rebook them in the future if I needed help watching Squid again. Squid seemed to really like him too!

From a thorough pre-sit video call to daily photo updates of hikes and couch snuggles, their communication was flawless. They truly took the time to understand our two dogs' distinct personalities, leaving them "spoiled" and happy during our 5 day vacation. We returned to a spotless home and even a prepared meal in the fridge, complete with a friendly note! If you want total peace of mind while away, look no further. Patty and Steve were responsible, loving, flexible and went above and beyond every expectation we had of pet sitters. We only wish we could have them sit for us all the time when we are out of town!
Patricia was a wonderful pup parent to Nellie, our little mixed breed dog. She was so loving and gentle with her and Nellie snuggled up right next to her within minutes. Patricia also takes wonderful pet photographs which we enjoyed seeing daily. Our house was left in immaculate condition upon our return and we even had a home cooked meal prepared for us. I can't say enough about Patricia being the perfect pet sitter.
Patty and Steve are two of the most loving people I’ve ever met. For the past year, I've watched them house and pet sit across the US, consistently showing every animal they encounter so much care and compassion. They handled our rambunctious dogs with ease and took wonderful care of them—walking and feeding them twice a day and spending time playing with them in the backyard. Patty even sent daily photos of the dogs playing outside, going on walks, or relaxing with her and Steve in the family room, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. They were also excellent stewards of our home, keeping everything clean and making sure the trash was taken out and brought back in on trash day. Before our trip, we had the opportunity to meet them in person. They were very accommodating and came by the day before we left so we could show them the ropes. Patty and Steve are friendly, have great attitudes, and are simply enjoyable to be around. We hope to use them again for future trips and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable house and pet sitters. 🐾

Schedule
We are currently working remotely with a flexible schedule, so we have plenty of open availabilities for a drop-in visit as well as overnight and extended stays in the clients' home. We are typically available on weekdays and weekends with flexible times.
