PLEASE NOTE THAT I CAN'T TAKE ANY STRONG EXCITABLE DOGS WHO PULL ON THE LEAD AS I SUFFER FROM SHOULDER AND NECK PAIN. I'm happy to take well behaved dogs from different households, but they MUST be introduced first for a little trial, which I will organise. We have a young kitten, so I can only take dogs who are calm around and / or used to cats. However, please check with me regarding dates as there will be times when our cat will stay with friends nearby. Also, I've been very successful in the past at training some dogs to get used to my cat, so this could be an option. I work from home and am offering home boarding, or as I prefer to call it, doggy holidays. I would be delighted to look after your dog while you are away on your holidays, weekends or day trips. We live in the heart of beautiful Tunbridge Wells, near The Pantiles. I have a lovely, spacious house overlooking a totally secure garden. It's just my husband and me, so the house is very calm. I've owned cats and dogs all my life - I have years of experience and can happily deal with all aspects of pet care, including the yukky stuff! Rest assured that your dog will get all the exercise, company and love that he/she needs while you are away.

This was our first time using Rover and leaving Winnie with a sitter overnight, so we were naturally a little nervous. From the moment we met, we felt completely at ease. Winnie was so well looked after, and it was lovely receiving updates while we were away. She came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her!
Couldn’t have wished for anyone better to look after both my dogs while I came to Kent to work from home a few days. I’ve never left them with anyone before and Patricia couldnt have been more welcoming and reassuring. Her husband was equally as welcoming too. Will definitely be recommending her to friends and booking her up again in the future. Violet and Elsie loved her to bits in just two days! ♥️
Mordy adores Patricia and is clearly at ease in her home. I can’t rate Patricia highly enough as she tends to his every need and he has a thoroughly good time with her whenever he stays.
Patricia is a really lovely lady and knows a lot about pets. She super friendly and loves looking after pets. Your pet will be in very good hands.
The one place Bellsie is truly happy with away from home. When she realised where she was going today, she literally dragged me running there. The best care you could ask for,
Kobe had a lovely stay with Patricia, once again. I received daily updates, photos and videos. Very happy knowing he was well looked after and comfortable with Patricia.

Schedule
I am semi-retired and work from home so your dog will have company all day. And, within reason, wherever we go, your dog will come with us.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a terraced garden which is completely secure. I can see the entire garden from our kitchen / dining room, but even so, I would never leave any dog unattended in the garden.
Pets
A typical day
Our typical day: coffee or breakfast at our local dog friendly cafe. A walk in Grove Park or on the common. Sometimes we go for a drive, so I have a proper dog car seat and secure seatbelt. I will send regular pupdates and photos for complete peace of mind.
