Pet care is already part of my regular weekday routine, allowing me to provide consistent and reliable service. I structure my schedule to maintain dependable timing for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I’m typically available for weekday midday and afternoon care, and I also offer boarding with a safe, structured environment and plenty of outdoor time for play, exercise, and fresh air. I don’t currently have dogs of my own, which allows me to provide a calm environment and give your pet my full attention. I keep my schedule organized to ensure each pet receives attentive, well-paced care and doesn’t feel rushed or overlooked.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and consistency are my top priorities in both my home and my client’s home. I follow each pet’s established routine closely, including feeding schedules, crate or free-roam preferences, and any specific care instructions. In my home, I provide a calm, structured environment with a large, fenced yard for safe, supervised outdoor time, exercise, and enrichment. Pets are never left unattended with unknown animals, and I prioritize a low-stress setting tailored to each dog’s temperament. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and maintain your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and secure. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any changes that might indicate stress or discomfort. I’m also comfortable administering basic medications if needed. I focus on clear communication, dependable care, and making sure both you and your pet feel confident and at ease.

Information Patricia P. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a pet, I like to understand their routine, temperament, and any specific needs. This includes feeding schedules, potty habits, energy level, and any training or behavioral considerations. It’s also helpful to know how they interact with other dogs, any medical needs or medications, and anything that may cause stress or anxiety (such as loud noises or being left alone). I want to make sure I’m providing care that’s consistent with what they’re used to and setting them up to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I’m also happy to do a quick meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit.

A typical day

A typical day includes a mix of structured care and fun, engaging activity. Pets enjoy supervised yard time, play with toys, and walks on neighborhood trails for exercise and enrichment. I tailor activity levels to each dog’s energy and preferences, balancing playtime with rest so they stay happy and comfortable. When appropriate and well-tolerated, I may include carefully supervised playtime with compatible dog friends.

Caring & Trusted Pet Care

Pet care experience

Reliable, structured care is what sets me apart. I’m happy to follow your established routines and house rules to ensure consistency for your pet. I’m comfortable with puppies (crate routines and reinforcing good habits) as well as senior dogs who need a slower, more attentive pace. I regularly care for dogs during the weekday and am experienced managing routines, timing, and midday coverage. I prioritize dependable timing, clear communication, and making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ve owned dogs for over 15 years and have been pet sitting since 1995. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.

Patricia has been watching my babies off and on before she joined Rover. now it’s good to have a platform to schedule the times! I must say one of my dogs love her more than me hahaha. She treats them like her own babies! Given I have two large dogs it’s nice she has a huge yard for them To run around in and they feel like she’s their second mom. Could not say enough nice things about her and how happy my dogs are with her. I think they have so much fun they don’t want to come home 😔. 5 stars!

Patricia was great with Prismo! Being a corgi, he can be "problematic," and Patricia handled all his dos and don'ts. She provided me with lots of updates on his stay, and was very communicative regarding pickup and dropoff. Would absolutely recommend and use again in the future.
