A typical day
Separation from their human and the introduction of a new person into their home can be stressful to pets. I work hard to gain their trust and friendship, and do so at their pace, sharing in the acitivites they enjoy.

Pet care experience
A retired professional, I love all kinds of animals...dogs, cats, horses, birds, farm animals, reptiles, small mammals, et al...having experience caring for all of these species. A Lake County, Florida, resident for over 40 years, I've held executive positions since I was 29 years old, have a master's degree, and a great repoire with animals and vice versa. I am compassionate, dependable, and conscientious and will treat your animals and home as if they were my own. I do have my own 15 lb. fur-kid Sadie, an adorable mixed breed, so house sitting for more than one night requires my bringing her. She loves every dog she meets, doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body, is completely housebroken, quiet, and hasn't touched any of my stuff since adopting her...a perfect little lady. I have photos and videos of her with my other canine clients...all of whom have enjoyed her company. A meet-and-greet will be scheduled in advance to make sure everyone - 4 and 2 legged - like each other. Every past sitting experience has been extremely pleasant and fun for all.

Pat is the best! She has stayed in our home twice now to care for our animals and each time we have come home to happy pups and a clean house. She is always flexible with our travel plans which is such a blessing! Our pups love Pat - she is our go to! 🤍
