I am recently retired and am just starting out with the Rover. com work platform. My ideal work will involve helping families care for their pets when they can't be there to care for them themselves. I have been in this position with my pets several times and know how stressful it can be to trust somebody that you don’t know to care for your dog or cat family member. I have always had dogs and cats as part of my family, including special needs pets. I currently have one dog with special needs (IVDD and reactivity.) I would be happy to talk with you to see if I can meet the needs of you and your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have a dog who has physical limitations and reactivity. Because of this, I am unable to board a dog or cat in my home. I am also not available to overnight pet sit in your home.

She is intelligent, patient and empathetic. She is an experienced and trained nurse. Schedule
Because I am retired I am fairly flexible with my schedule. However, due to my own pet , I am not available for overnight care or boarding. In addition, I travel a fair amount. So, I am best suited for occasional/one time/short term or fill-in type jobs.
