Pet care experience

Your dog deserves a vacation, too!

Pets have always been part of my life from growing up beside them to caring for them through all stages of their lives. I fostered dogs for a non-profit animal rescue and am a volunteer dog walker at the local animal shelter. I am dependable and intuitive to the care of your pets and will be happy to give your pet their own mini vacation while you are away.

Doggy Day Care • Jun 20, 2026

Patricia was really great to work with! We will definitely look for her in the future as we visit the Sandusky area again. We had planned for a 1 day need, but ended up asking her to keep our dog a 2nd day. Luckily she was available! Our dog Baranaby was quite happy to hang out. Attentive, communicative, and easy to work with!

Sachi enjoyed his stay and was so well taken care of. He loves Willow the Great Dane. I can relax while away knowing they are great dog sitters!

Safety, trust & environment

I have one dog that would love to keep your dog company. Your pet will have the opportunity to have a companion or to have alone time based on your/their wants. I have L and XL dog crates available if you pup likes the added personal space or you are welcome to bring theirs along. There are plenty of XL dog beds or human beds to lounge and toys of all varieties (stuffed, crinkle, squeakers, ropes, balls, frisbees [my dogs personal favorites]). For pups and elders with difficulty on non-carpeted surfaces I can utilize a baby gate to prevent accidently slips and falls. All outdoor time is always supervised. The yard is unfenced but we do have an invisible fence and extra collar (if your pet is already accustom too these) other wise we will enjoy our outdoor time walking on a leash (6ft - 20ft) as we explore the sights and smells of the great outdoors. [Please note we do have chickens but they will not be free roaming while your pet visits.]

Pets

A typical day

There is something for everyone on this dog-cation: The Relaxer: spend time relaxing in the lounge room while watching saltwater fish swim The Napper: enjoy a quiet room sleeping in bed with soft plush blankets and oversized pillows The Birdwatcher: watch the birds at the feeds from feeder while you enjoy your meal or be get up close and personal while getting a zoo-like experience with today's modern dinosaur...the domesticated chicken. The Explorer Seeker: Weave thru the maze of vegetable plants, look out into the vastness of farmlands, roll in the grassy plains, or round the bends of waterways, stay in the coolness of the shade trees, or wonder the lines of fines The Gourmet Foodie: with pup-arents permission enjoy fresh eggs, laid daily and cooked to pup-fection. The Young At Heart: Feel like a kid in a toy shop, can't choose one well enjoy them all! We have Stuffed Toys, Crinklers, Squeakers, Tug-a-War toys, Far-Fetchers like balls and frisbees! The Intellect: We play brain stimulating games like hide-and-seek, there are read-a-loud sessions especially for those that like a good bedtime story, we can work on tricks just let us know the words/movements/routines. The Observer: Roam free (indoors or where the people are outdoors), not everyone wants to participate and that's okay. Come watch us cook in the kitchen, or pop into a room just to say a quick hello. Have a favorite show or movie, great we can put that on for you.

To ensure your pet feels at home away from home please let me know what your pet's typical day looks like. Does your dog like to wake up at 3am for a quick stretch in the yard before returning to bed and not eating until noon like a teenager or does your dog want to see their food bowl topped off with food right before bed but want eat a bite until the morning? Are certain toys for playing and others are for cuddling? Just like people our pets have their quirks that make them unique.
