Dog walking is the only “work” I do. I take it very seriously as a career choice and have my own private dog walking business, as well. Reliability, safety, and lots of fun playtime with plenty of cuddles. I use your methods, key training commands, etc. to keep consistency for your fur babies while they are in my care.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a 1 br Condominium in a safe neighborhood in Old City. My building has a very security conscious, pet friendly and comfortable environment. It’s located within 1/4 mile of 4 different parks. I have a rambunctious 4 pound Papillion, Pippin, who enjoys playing with other dogs and her toys. She would welcome a playmate, if your pup is staying at my home. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee the same thing with cats.

Home

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present

Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Patricia B. would like to know about your pet

I prefer smaller breeds only because it's difficult for me to carry a large, heavy dog in the event of an emergency. I would appreciate knowing your expectations in terms of exercise, meals, potty habits and socialization.

A typical day

I feel guilty sometimes accepting payment for being able to pal around with these adorable, often laugh-out-loud funny 4 legged friends. I think it’s important for dogs to have both exercise and green space, if they’re physically capable. I enjoy taking them to the Wood Street or Wilson Park areas. I don’t go to any dog parks usually, because there usually isn’t any way to know about the aggression and vaccination background of the other dogs playing there. I have been involved in a couple of dog fights when the dog I was walking was attacked by off leashed dogs - things turn bad quickly. Safety is my first priority. If an area is secured by fences and it’s something that you approve, I would play fetch or just let them have some off-leash time to sniff around.

🥇The BEST pet care in OLD CITY🏆

Pet care experience

I know there's NOTHING that lifts one's spirits more than being greeted after a long day by dancing paws and a waggily tail. I also know that while you aren't home with your best and most loyal friend, it is reassuring to know he/she has had the best of affection, safety and doggy fun with someone who cares about him/her as deeply as you do. I am just this person! My 9 years of full time pet care experience has involved every situation from birthing a litter of chihuahua puppies (unexpectedly - see photo), elderly diabetic dogs who needed IV insulin administered, to fragile newly rehomed rescue dogs. I joined Rover.com in 2015 after a 30 year career in Banking and Finance. I adopted my rescue Chihuahua/Mystery breed, Lola, and started helping friends with their fur-babies at that time and loved it! I then decided to expand my services and to be available to support you and your dog in any capacity, whether that be by a simple check in and walk, or by caring for him/her a few days at a time. I’m extremely flexible regarding the scheduling and care you desire. I am happy to take dogs who like each other, and live in the same neighborhood or apartment building, to a Park together for some special socialization play time. Or if you have multiple dogs who need a visit I am happy to consider a reduced rate. The puppy service fees listed are for puppies who are still being house/crate trained because more time and care is needed. And… accidents often need to be cleaned up. If your pup is already trained then the adult service fees apply. The same applies for incontinent adult dogs. My references are excellent and you may contact them personally. I am looking forward to meeting your fur-babies.

Spirit LOVED his stay! He enjoyed Patricia and Pip and appreciated all the love and fun he had! Patricia was very kind and sent photos of Spirit everyday. Definitely softened the nerves of leaving him while I was on vacation. Would highly recommend! Spirit cannot wait for his next stay!!

I want to thank you once again, Patricia, for being so incredibly understanding and accommodating with our sudden change of plans. And you know what?? I also have to give a huge shout-out to Pippin, your 5-year-old angel dog! Everyone should know what an amazing helper Pippin is. She really played a part in making TenTen feel at home.

I honestly don't know where to begin to express my deepest gratitude to Patricia. TenTen is 7 years and 4 months old, and she had never been away from our family for even a single day. Leaving her for over two weeks while we had to travel abroad due to a family emergency was an incredibly difficult decision for both TenTen and our family. However, from the very first moment we met Patricia and left TenTen at her home, we could feel her genuine love for dogs. The constant updates with photos and videos allowed us to feel so much peace of mind and love even from a distance. When TenTen unexpectedly needed veterinary care and had to wear a cone and take medication, Patricia’s dedication was truly moving—she cared for her even more deeply than I would have. If you ever need help with your beloved dog, believe me, Patricia is the absolute answer. Just please, don't make her too busy... because I’m definitely going to need her help again! ^^;;;

I have a 15-year-old (almost completely blind, because of cataracts) Bichon who requires a bit of extra care. I call him Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I couldn't have asked for a more attentive, loving and masterful sitter than Patricia. I highly recommend her exceptional care.
