Dog-loving couple in Hoboken! 🐾
Hi there! We are Pat and Alex - we love to care for dogs and have years of experience caring for friends' dogs as well as Pepper. We adopted our dog Pepper (~5 yr old Jindo mix) from KoreanK9 Rescue in Nov 2020. She is friendly/social with dogs, but we want to make sure your dog will be compatible with her - we would prefer to do an in person meeting with Pepper and your dog ahead of time. We both have flexible WFH/working hours and at least one of us is home during the week so your dog will have our undivided attention. We are in a spacious 2bed in Hoboken (see living room photo to get an idea of our space) and walking distance to a few dog parks and the waterfront. Tell us as much about your dog as you can! We want to get to know your dog and please let us know if there are any routines/rules they/we should follow and we'll be sure to continue that throughout their stay. We also have experience with dog training/crate training and special needs/anxious dogs. We would like to know: 🐾Walking and feeding schedule, habits? 🐾Treats that are allowed? We have plenty of beef liver treats we can share! 🐾Do they sleep in a crate, on the bed or on the floor? (Pepper has a couple dog beds she can share as well) 🐾Are they allowed at the dog park? 🐾Allergies or special needs/requests 🐾Is there anything we can do to make your dog more comfortable?

Sophie had so much fun staying with Patrice, Alex and Pepper! Patrice & Alex were very attentive to her special needs and provided lots of adorable photos and videos. We will certainly be using them again!

Patrice and Alex took care of our dog, Charlie, for two and a half weeks. They took excellent care of her and we had great communication with them while we were away. They sent pictures and videos, and Charlie got along great with their sweet dog, Pepper! It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing that my dog was in good hands during our trip. Thank you for everything!
Patrice and Alex took wonderful care of my dog! They provided lots of updates and cute pictures each day of the stay. Their dog Pepper seems very sweet and the dogs got along well. My dog got lots of love and attention from Alex and Patrice, and it was clear from the photos how comfortable she was in their home. We will definitely be booking with them again!
Second time boarding with Pat, Alex, and Pepper and I could tell Rooney didn't want to leave. He loves them and enjoyed his time there and I know he was more than well taken care of. We had to visit family out of state and decided to board Rooney for 5 days with Pat, Alex, and Pepper and there wasn't a single time we were worried (of course still missed him, but never worry). We really couldn't have found a better family for our little anxious but cuddly Rooney to spend these days away from home with. I would highly recommend Pat and Alex for anyone who needs their pups to feel safe, welcome, and loved. No doubt we will be boarding him with them again!

Schedule
We take Pepper on 3 walks a day and to the dog park a few times a week as she really enjoys socializing with other dogs.
