Where your pup is just like family!
Your pup will love staying with us and our golden retriever, Josie. Walking in our quiet neighborhood, romping in the fenced and wooded backyard, and watching the world through our wall of windows are highlights of what we can offer. Marty and I spend lots of time outdoors for both work and fun, and have cared for our own or others' dogs for over 20 years. There are lots of exciting places to explore nearby including Lake Michigan and the Ft. Sheridan Forest Preserve. Our small, cabin-like house is easily managed by dogs both young and old. We usually accept only one dog at a time, but will make exceptions if there's limited overlap especially if you're a repeat guest. Please feel free to message me if you see that we are booked. B.J. is a rambunctious, mischievous 16 month old, and Pat, Marty, and Josie seem to be able to handle him perfectly. He came home totally exhausted. I can't recommend them highly enough. B.J. will be back if they want to put up with him again. LOL
We couldn’t be happier! Pat was warm and welcoming to Trudy and kept us updated with photos and messages. It’s clear our dog had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!
My new incorrigible yorkie poo puppy succeeded in not driving Pat and Marty too crazy. He absolutely loved his stay from the pictures and will be back. Thay seem to be able to handle NYTHING. ;-)

My fury son Barkley loves to stay with Pat and Marty and their dog Josie. From the pictures they send I can relax and see he is having as much fun as I am having and its extremely reassuring. He does need to sleep a lot for the first couple of days he is home because, as a single parent, I am not as stimulating. Love you guys.
Love Pat and family. They were extremely flexible when I had trouble getting home from a cruise. I never worry about my little buddy because I know he is well taken care of and loving every minute f his vacation..
