What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of hands-on animal care experience and a genuine passion for animals. While attending college, I worked as a veterinary technician in both general practice and emergency care settings. Although this experience was several years ago, it provided me with valuable knowledge of animal behavior, safe handling techniques, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention or care. In addition to my veterinary experience, I have spent years caring for pets belonging to family and friends. My experience extends beyond dogs and cats to include horses, pet birds, chickens, and reptiles. At home, we have a spirited Silver Labrador, a Cavapoo who is my son's best friend, a cat, a horse, and a gecko that spends school breaks with us. Being surrounded by animals every day has helped me develop a strong understanding of their unique personalities, needs, and routines.
