Walks, Sitting & Loving Care

I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life, including my own dog of 14 years, who passed away in December 2025 after living with Cushing’s disease. Caring for her gave me experience with senior dogs, administering medication, bathing, and providing patient, attentive care. Since losing her, I’ve wanted to continue giving that same love and care to other pets. I also have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and cats. Since my dog passed, I’ve fostered cats and grown to love caring for them as well. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, medication, a bath, companionship, or a calm and loving environment while you’re away, I’d be honored to help and will always treat them with the same care I’d want for my own.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, my dog was used to being let out for walks four times a day, fed twice a day, and given treats in between, and I’m more than happy to follow that same kind of schedule for your pet or adapt to whatever routine they’re used to. I know how important consistency can be for animals, and I always want them to feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. As for cats, I harness trained my foster cat and took her on walks, but for cats who aren’t harness trained or simply prefer staying indoors, I strongly believe in enrichment and play. I make time for dedicated play in the morning and evening, along with attention throughout the day. My foster was fed wet food twice a day and grazed on dry food, but I’m always happy to follow your cat’s normal feeding schedule and routine.

Schedule

I’m currently a student at the University of Houston and am on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for dog walks and pet sitting throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. I also work remotely through a research internship with the CDC and part-time as an administrative assistant for a clinic, so I’m home often and able to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day.

Before watching your pet, I’d love to know as much as possible about their routine, personality, and preferences so I can make them feel comfortable and cared for. For dogs, it’s especially helpful to know their feeding schedule, walk routine, energy level, bathroom habits, any leash reactivity or triggers, and whether they have any medical needs, medications, or anxiety when left alone. For cats, I’d want to know their feeding schedule, litter box routine, favorite toys or enrichment activities, whether they’re shy or social, and if they have any dietary restrictions or medications. I’d also love to know about any behaviors that help your pet feel safe and happy, whether that’s sleeping habits, favorite treats, cuddle preferences, or things they don’t like.
