I am available on weekdays after 5 PM and flexible on the weekends! My full-time job is working in the athletic department at UVA so my schedule varies.

I've had two dogs in my family, a Goldendoodle, and Labradoodle. I was in charge of the dogs when my parents went out of town and or while at work. And I have experience working with calm and hyper dogs.

Full disclosure - Paolo is my son, so while I'm biased, I also know him extremely well. As Paolo was growing up, we've had two dogs in our family, each with very different personalities. Our first was a laid-back, 70 lb. labradoodle named Curly who passed in 2020, and our second is a smaller, highly-energetic (read: frenetic) 20 lb. mini-golden doodle named Peanut. Paolo formed a very close relationship with Curly and now attends to Peanut with extraordinary care and compassion. Paolo has always treated our dogs as members of our family who are deeply loved and who ought to be included in all our family activities. Paolo has a huge heart, and I have witnessed several occasions when he set aside his own concerns and pre-occupations to walk or simply play with our dogs because they wanted some attention. I think he'll make an outstanding dog caregiver on Rover.com.
