Safety, trust & environment
I live in a cozy home with a private patio — perfect for relaxing and playing. I’m also a short walk from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and close to Epping Forest, ideal for nature-loving pups. I always prioritise your dog’s comfort and safety, and I’m happy to follow any specific care routines you have. Same if I’m looking after your dog at your house!

Information Paolo C. would like to know about your pet
I want to make sure your pet feels as safe, comfortable, and happy as possible, so it’s really helpful for me to know about their personality, routines, and any special needs ahead of time. Things like: • Their favorite activities (and any they don’t enjoy!) • How they usually behave on walks (e.g., are they nervous, reactive, or love meeting other dogs?) • Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications • Feeding schedule and any diet restrictions • Comfort items they like (favorite toy, blanket, etc.) • Any commands they know or are currently working on • How they usually react when left alone • Any fears (like fireworks, loud noises, or bicycles) The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to match what makes your dog happiest and most comfortable — just like you would!
A typical day
love making sure every dog has a fun, active, and safe experience while in my care! Depending on their energy level and personality, I often take dogs to beautiful, spacious areas like Epping Forest or the Olympic Park for long, exciting walks or gentle strolls. We’ll play classic games like fetch, tug-of-war, and even a bit of hide-and-seek to keep their minds stimulated and their tails wagging. I’m always careful to tailor activities to each dog’s age, health, and preferences — whether it’s a lively run, a relaxed sniffing adventure, or a cozy picnic-style rest in the park. I also love introducing little “enrichment games” like scattering treats for a mini treasure hunt, which is great for mental stimulation and boosting their confidence. Above all, safety is always my top priority — all activities are fully supervised, with lots of praise, cuddles, and positive reinforcement to make your dog feel happy, relaxed, and loved! ❤️

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a part of my life — quite literally! My first dog was born two years before me, and we grew up side by side until he passed away when I was 14. Our bond went far beyond the usual pet-and-owner relationship; he truly felt like a brother. Growing up, my family always had dogs in the house, mainly Shih Tzus, and over the past 15 years I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities — from tiny lapdogs to larger breeds like XL Bullies and Great Swiss Mountain Dogs. I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs too, including my own beloved 16-year-old dog, supporting him through vet visits, small procedures, and managing daily needs like changing pads. The way I connect with dogs is special — I love them, understand them, and naturally create a space where they feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. Since moving to London, I’ve not been able to have a dog of my own due to my full-time work as an NHS physiotherapist, but I’ve stayed closely connected to the dog community. I live in Maryland, Stratford area, and for the past 5 years, I’ve been an active member of BorrowMyDoggy, regularly helping neighbours with dog walking, feeding, and weekend care. For the past year and a half, I’ve been looking after a wonderful dog for full weekends, building a bond based on trust, affection, and consistency. Dogs tend to gravitate toward me, and their comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. When your dog is with me, they’re not just cared for — they’re loved like family.
Reviews
I would highly recommend Paolo as dog sitter, he is passionate for animals and really cares for them. He took care of my dog several times while I was on holiday in the past years, and he always made sure he was going out twice a day for his walks, the food and snacks were enough, and played with him so he wasn’t bored. Definitely a five star service!
Paolo is amazing. He has taken great care of my dog Zulu and their energetic personalities match each other. Very knowledgeable and professional but also warm and friendly, Paolo makes it clear how big his love for animals is. I trust him completely and recommend him with no hesitation.
Paolo is a very nice guy who really loves pets, especially dogs. I’ve known him for a number of years and he’s a very caring and responsible person—I couldn’t recommend him enough. He has a natural way with animals; dogs in particular seem to adore him. I’ve seen him take care of pets with incredible patience and attention. He once looked after a friend’s senior dog for a week and treated her like royalty. I’d trust him with my own pets without a second thought.
