My preferred name is Artemisia (my legal name is Paola), and I’ll be your pet’s sitter and caretaker! I believe animals deserve the absolute best care, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I grew up with both cats and dogs and currently care for an adorable cat and two puppies, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and needs. I work from home, which means your pet will have lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I bring a calm, intuitive presence and really take the time to get to know each animal and what makes them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime and a little training, or would rather have a cozy day full of naps and cuddles, I tailor their care to what they enjoy most (usually a mix of both!). I live in a house with a large backyard, so there’s plenty of space to play and get outside. Whether you’re traveling, working, or simply need an extra hand, you can feel confident knowing your pet will be in a safe, loving, and attentive environment with someone who genuinely cares about making their time away from you as comfortable and happy as possible.

We had another great experience with Paula! She took care of Lucy for almost 12 hours, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing Lucy was with someone we trust. Paula is kind, professional, and experienced with dogs. Lucy can be nervous around people, so it means a lot to us knowing she is comfortable with Paula. Paola was courteous, communicative, and kind. She went well beyond my expectations for a dog walk. She took time for my dog to know and trust her, and he received treats for heeling even though I didn’t pay for training. My dog came back to me happy and fulfilled. I got back home late and she didn’t mind taking him on little longer of a walk. She deserved every tip and all the praise I read in her reviews! Will book again.
Had such a wonderful experience with Paola. Paola is an excellent communicator! Providing multiple updates through the day via texts and pics. The dogs appeared content and the cat was quick to warm up. Would definitely recommend Paola and would certainly rebook with Paola in the future!
They are both wonderful animal lovers that are experienced at pet care and development. I wouldn't hesitate at having them watch our own pets especially after seeing how they train their personal pets. You won't find other people more caring for your pets than these two.

Schedule
I work from home, so your pet will have company and care throughout most of the day alongside my own pets. If your dog enjoys walks or outings like the beach, I’d love to include them with mine. Otherwise, they’ll be relaxing at home in a calm, attentive environment and won’t be left alone for more than about an hour (if they’re comfortable with short periods of alone time).

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure my pets get a healthy balance of play, structure, and rest. With my dogs, I focus on plenty of playtime and ongoing training, which helps them burn energy and settle into naps while I work. My cat prefers a calmer routine and spends most of her day relaxing in her own space, but I always make time for snuggles and connection so she feels loved and secure. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and energy levels. If a dog becomes tired or overstimulated, I’m happy to crate them for a peaceful reset if that’s part of their routine. There is plenty of room in our house and yard to create separate spaces for pets to have their own areas (for sleep, food, play, etc.) if that is what they prefer. ❤️

A typical day
I love to have my dogs play fetch, tug of war, puzzles for treats, and teach new tricks or work on existing training skills. Additionally we go for walks and hikes depending on the day.
