Hi there! I am Panagiotis, 27 years old, a dog/cat lover originally from Greece who has lived in Amsterdam since 2023. I currently live in a studio apartment with my girlfriend, Jin, next to Oosterpark. I grew up surrounded by animals and had the pleasure of raising my own dog since 14 years old, "Smart", for ten wonderful years. Having cared for him since he was a baby, I truly understand the patience, love, and consistent attention that pets need to feel happy and secure. I currently work from home and I have a very relaxed schedule, which allowes me to be available throughout the day to provide constant companionship and supervised care. Since I enjoy staying active and running, your dog will get plenty of exercise and long walks in the park, which is only a three minute stroll from my front door. I typically take dogs for a walk 2-3 times per day, depending on the owner's preferences, and never leave them home alone for more than 5 consecutive hours. Oosterpark is ~3 minute walk from my place so I typically take them for a walk there. My girlfriend and I have taken care of multiple pets from friends over the past years, and have a lot of experience making them feel at home from the beginning. In terms of my background, I have worked for the last ~5 years as a Management Consultant. Prior to working I got a BSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. In my free time I like to do sports, go for a run and watch movies. To ensure a healthy environment for everyone, I only welcome pets that are fully vaccinated. I promise to treat your dog like family and send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind.

Panagiotis dog-sat my Belgian Malinois, Max, and he did an excellent job! Max, as you can imagine, is full of energy and needs lots of attention and activity to stay happy and engaged. He’s also on medication for a specific health issue, which requires careful attention and responsibility. I genuinely trust Panagiotis to handle both Max’s energetic personality and his medical needs with care and dedication. Highly recommend!
Panagiotis is an exceptional pet caregiver with experience. He understands that each pet is different and has its own personality and needs and he is able to accomodate to each individual case. He always takes care, looking out to prevent accidents, while also making sure to participate in fun activities with every pet. In other words, he participates as a partner for a fun-time well-spent, besides acting as a guardian. As a result, most pets feel comfortable around him and love him. These rare qualities make him a valuable caretaker for your pet.
Panos has a genuine attention and curiosity for dogs ,that is apparent by the way he lights up when he sees them in the streets and imagines dogstting them. As he is home everyday I'm sure he will devote a lot of time for the dogs he will take care of, play with them and keep them company.
Panagiotis' love and care towards dog is truly on another level. He loves dogs so much that everytime when he is around a dog, he either forgets that he is a human and immediately joins the dog world by playing and running with that dog, or forgets that he is technically supposed to be socializing with humans too. He even spent a surprisingly long time searching for a picture of him with a dog on his phone, because somehow most pictures of him and dogs exist separately....This is when you know he is a 100% authentic caregiver and pays so much attention to dogs solely and fully ❤️

Schedule
I am working from home and have a very relaxed schedule, which gives me plenty of time to play with the pets. My girlfriend and I are both introverts and prefer to stay in our cozy apartment on the weekends too.

Our apartment is completely pet-friendly and totally safe. It is a very quite apartment and it is only a 3 minute walk from Oosterpark.
