Back after a 3 year hiatus! 💖 I love exotic pets! I own 2-9 pet rats at a time, and have cared for rats for the last 9 years. I do regular yearly drop-in visits for a week or two with a couple of ferrets, have boarded three extra pet rats at my apartment for a few days, and have done drop-in visits on a guinea pig. I was the regular caregiver for two different sets of two huskies any time their owners are out of town (including walks, feeding, house visits, housesitting, etc) which I did for a few years until their owners moved away. I helped care for an elderly husky with a skin condition (seborrhea), including frequent and gentle brushes, bathing/scrubbing, and walks (she was a puller!). Previously I have boarded one or two small dogs, including taking them on walks and housing them at my apartment for up to a week. I lived with my aunt for two years, and in that time I helped her care for her Italian Greyhounds that she bred. We had anywhere from 2-6 adult dogs and 2-5 puppies in the house at any given time. My main task was to help get the wiggles out of the younger dogs, but I also helped socialize them and get them ready for dog shows. I have previously owned multiple cats, both as an adult and while growing up. Through this app I've had the opportunity to care for more cats, which is great! They really are beautiful creatures, and I love giving them scritches and playing with them (when they'll tolerate it). I currently own 8 pet rats that I love very much, but someday when I have a house with a yard I want to own multiple large dogs.
